Descripción del Producto
Single component, flame resistant, B1 quality construction foam which
cures by air moisture. It expands up to 30 times its original volume and
is quick drying. Flame resistant only in between solid mineral or metal
construction materials - gap depth and width a maximum of 40mm.
Certified by MPA Bau Hannover ABP-No-P-NDS04-349. Fire resistance
class E1 180-V-X-F-W 10-50* as per classification report 3.2/10-052-2
acc. to DIN EN 1366-4 in combination with DIN 13501-2. Certified by
MfPA Leipzig GmbH. The product has been tested according to the
Dutch NEN6069:1997-norm to meet special fire resistance in building
systems (related to European norm EN1366-4).
*Joint structure: compressed mineral wool at the side facing the fire
space (width 200mm, depth 100mm) and B1 foam at the far fire space
side (depth 100mm).
Ensure surfaces to be treated are free from grease, dust and loose
material. It is important to moisten surfaces slightly before use as this
improves adhesion and finished cell structure of the foam. Shake the
can prior to use at least 30 times. Turn the can of foam upside down
and fix onto the applicator gun ensuring the threads are lined up. We
recommend SX PU Foam Applicator Gun is used. To regulate the flow
of the foam, loosen the valve at the back of the handle. Only use in
temperatures of +5ºC to +35ºC. Half fill the cavity and lightly spray the
foam with water. The foam will expand to fill the rest. When fixing
window frames, use wedges to hold the frame in place for
approximately 24 hours, until the foam is fully cured. Can be cut,
sanded, plastered or painted when cured. Normally the foam applicator
gun should be left attached to a can of foam to ensure that the entire
system is closed. To reuse, simply break off the nib of foam at the end
of the gun applicator nozzle, shake can well and start application.
Before replacing cans, close the gun valve and unscrew empty can,
then immediately clean the foam applicator gun thoroughly using SX PU
Foam Cleaner.

The foam is not UV resistant so if applied outdoors protect by
painting or coating with suitable material

This product can be painted when cured.
Limpieza
Attach a can of SX PU Foam Cleaner and press the trigger several
times until all the residual foam dissolves. Never leave the foam gun
applicator separated from a can of foam without immediately cleaning
the gun thoroughly. Always clean the foam applicator gun thoroughly
before storing. Do not use a metal hammer to release the can from the
gun adaptor thread. If necessary, tap gently with a nylon hammer. Do
not attempt DIY repairs to the gun. Cured foam can only be removed
mechanically.

Shelflife of 12 months after production date. Store upright in unopened,
original packaging between +2°C and +25°C.
