Zwaluw WINTERFOAM is a 1-component insulation and construction
polyurethane foam developed to make a seal between construction
parts. Zwaluw WINTERFOAM cures in response to humidity from air
and from building materials.
Ventajas
exceeding 50°C. Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Contains
flammable propellants. Do not spray on a naked flame or any
incandescent material. Keep away from sources of ignition. No
smoking.

Not suitable for PE, PP, PC, PMMA, PTFE, soft plastics, neoprene
and bituminous substrates
Zwaluw WINTERFOAM can be used in joints around window frames
and constructions themselves, partition walls, ceiling and floor joints,
surface penetrations of pipes and tubes through walls and floors. In
General PU-foam has an excellent adhesion on concrete, brick, stone,
plaster, wood, metal and many plastics like EPS and XPS, rigid PU
foam and uPVC.

Not suitable for continuous water load and for filling/injecting big,
hollow spaces where insufficient moisture is available.

Application temperature (applies to environment and substrates):
-15°C* to +35°C (recommended +10°C till +25°C)
When applying in cold conditions allow the canister to reach room
temperature before use.
Can be painted or covered with sealant/plaster when fully cured.
Aplicaciones
Keep the canister with the valve upwards and fix a applicator gun with
NBS-thread onto the canister. We recommend a Zwaluw NBS Gold
(see instructions in the gun box). Shake the canister vigorously prior to
use at least 20 times. Turn canister upside down and apply the foam.
To regulate the flow of the foam, loosen the valve at the back of the
handle. Half fill the cavity and, in case of low humidity, lightly spray the
foam with water. The foam will expand to fill the rest. When fixing
window frames, use spacers and wedges to hold the frame in place for
approximately 24 hours until the foam is fully cured. Protect eyes and
wear gloves and working clothes. Floor-covering and furniture to be
covered with paper or plastic foil.
Joints wider and deeper than 4 cm should be filled in multiple layers.
Waiting time between applications 15-30 minutes. Before each
application lightly spray with water.
Only use in well ventilated areas.
Store canister upright between + 5°C and + 25°C. Pressurized
container! Protect from sunlight and do not expose to temperatures
Preparación de la superficie y acabado
Substrates must be clean and free of dust, oil and grease. It is
important to moisten substrates slightly before use as this improves
adhesion and finished cell structure of the foam.
Limpieza
Fresh foam can be removed directly with Zwaluw Universal
PU-Cleaner. After curing the surplus of the foam can be removed with a
knife or spatula and the foam surface can be finished.

Vida Útil y Condiciones de Almacenamiento
In unopened original packaging between +5°C and +25°C, shelf life till
18 months after production date, stored in a dry place. Store the
canisters in an upright position.
