EUROPEAN PROJECTS
MEETING IN LA CORUÑA 2th/6th APRIL 2014

Arrival at Lavacolla airport at 19:40.
Estimate arrival time to our school 21:00. At the outside of the building, the host
families will be waiting for their guest siblings. By this time, they will be provided
with an informative touristic package from the town hall of Oleiros and A Coruña.
Arrival to our school at 9 a.m. and welcome session at the library of the school by the
headmistress. After the welcoming, the 25 Italian students, along with their host
siblings and the following students from Bachiller: Carolina Rodríguez, Melanie Ertl
and Mª José Castro, will visit the facilities of our school. This activity will last
approximately from 9:30 to 11:30 (break time).
At 11:50 they will attend two classes so that they will be in till 13:30.
Straight after, we will head to Santa Cristina where we all will have lunch together.
They can bring their own food over or they can get some there.
In the afternoon, we will visit La Fábrica at 16.30 and then, there will be a walk along
Santa Cristina promenade till Santa Cruz Castle.
Get to school at 9:00 and take the bus to Puerta Real at 9:15, as we have a meeting

Saturday, April 5th
with the mayor at 10:00 and we will visit the town hall of A Coruña. The headmistress
will attend this guided visit.
We will visit the Tower of Hercules at 14:00 to which we will get by bus from Puerta
Real (we will visit the galerías, the harbour, Saint Anthony’s Castle).
*Lunch time may vary depending on the length of the visit at the town hall.
* They can take their own food or get some at the centre of the city, if they do
before the programmed visit to the Tower of Hercules as there are no restaurants
nearby.
Once the visit to the tower is concluded we will walk along the promenade in order to
see the urban beaches (Matadero, Orzán y Riazor), finishing our walk close to Riazor
stadium. Depending on the time, we might be able to visit Mount Saint Peter.
A bus will come and get us to take us back to school. The exact time is yet to be
established.
Visit to Santiago de Compostela.
Departure time: 10:00 a.m. from school.
Visit through Santiago Cathedral and Obradoiro Square. At 12:00 we will try our
guests to see the botafumeiro working. We will have lunch around the Franco and we
will have some spare time in Santiago to do some shopping.
We will come back by bus and the estimate arrival time to school is yet to be
determined.
Sunday, April 6th
Day to share with the host families or, in case you want to, we still can arrange
something to do all together.
Monday, April 7th
Get to school at 9:00 a.m. to enjoy of a Galician folklore festival. The performance
will be carried out by pupils from 3rd and 4th year of ESO and Primary School, the

latter ones directed by Felipe.
Spain-Italy volleyball game at 11:50.
Volleyball game from 12:00 to 12:30. HCRey team will be made up of boys and girls.
After this game, there will be a football match. A picture will be taken at the
beginning of it. In this case, just boys will be representing Spain. There will be two
halves of 15 minutes and a little break of 5.
After the match, players will be provided with a changing room with hot showers.
Lunch at school at 14:20. Italian students and their teachers will be invited to have
lunch at our school.
Afternoon with the host families.
Goodbye at the front door of the school at 18:00 and departure towards Lavacolla to
where we will arrive about 19:00. Their departure flight leaves at 20:50.

Llegada al aeropuerto de Lavacolla a las 19.40 horas
Llegada prevista al colegio a las 21.00 horas. En la explanada del colegio, las familias
recogen a sus hermanos de acogida. En este momento se les hará entrega de un pack
turístico informativo del ayuntamiento de Oleiros y del de La Coruña.
A las 9.00 de la mañana llegada al centro y recibimiento en la biblioteca por parte de la
dirección. Tras el recibimiento los 25 italianos con sus respectivos hermanos de
acogida y los alumnos de Bachillerato: Andrea Carrodeguas, Melanie Ertl y Beatriz
López, visitarán las instalaciones del centro. Esta actividad está prevista desde las
9.30 hasta las 11.30 (hora del recreo).
A las 11.50 asistirán a dos clases, por tanto estarán en el aula hasta las 13.30.
Después nos dirigiremos a Santa Cristina para comer. Llevan la comida los que quieran y
si no, pueden comer en Santa Cristina.
Por la tarde,a las 16.30 visitaremos La Fábrica y después, caminata por el paseo
marítimo de Santa Cristina al castillo de Santa Cruz.
A las 9.00 llegada al centro y cogemos un autobús a las 9.15 que nos llevará a Puerta
Real, debido a que tenemos audiencia con el alcalde a las 10.00 horas de la mañana y
visitaremos el Ayuntamiento de La Coruña. La directora del centro asiste con nosotros
a la visita.
A las 14.00 horas está prevista la visita concertada a la torre de Hércules, a la que
llegaremos en un bus que nos llevará desde puerta real (visitaremos las galerías de la
Marina, la Dársena, el Castillo de San Antón).
* La hora de la comida puede variar, en función de la duración de la visita programada
al Ayuntamiento.
* Llevan la comida o pueden comer por el centro, si es antes de la visita a la Torre de

Hércules. En la zona de la Torre de Hércules no hay restaurantes para comer.
Terminada la visita a la Torre de Hércules iremos por el paseo marítimo viendo las
playas urbanas (Matadero, Orzán y Riazor), terminando el paseo, cerca del estadio del
Deportivo. Quizás, en función del tiempo, podamos visitar caminando el monte de San
Pedro. Un autobús nos recogerá para llevarnos a la explanada del centro. La hora está
sin determinar.
Visita a Santiago de Compostela.
Salimos de la explanada del colegio a las 10.00 de la mañana.
Visita a la catedral de Santiago y plaza del Obradoiro; a las 12.00 intentaremos que
vean el botafumeiro funcionando en la Catedral. Comida por el Franco y tiempo libre en
Santiago para compras.
Regresamos en autobús y la hora de llegada al colegio está aún por determinar.
Día compartido con las familias de acogida o si preferís podemos organizar algo.
A las 9.00 de la mañana, llegada al centro y festival de folklore gallego
Actuación de algunos alumnos de 3º y 4º de ESO y Primaria, estos últimos dirigidos por
el profesor Felipe.
A las 11.50 partido de voleibol
España-Italia. El equipo de Cristo Rey será mixto.
A continuación, a las 12.30 habrá un partido de fútbol, al comienzo del cual se realizará
una foto grupal. Tendrá dos partes de 15 minutos con un descanso de 5. Al final del
mismo, los jugadores tendrán a su disposición un vestuario con duchas de agua caliente.
A las 14.20 invitación del colegio para comer en el mismo.
Tarde con las familias.
Despedida en la explanada del colegio a las 18.00 horas y salida en bus de los
estudiantes italianos hacia Lavacolla. Allí llegarán aproximadamente a las 19.00 horas y
su vuelo de regreso sale del aeropuerto a las 20.50.
