NOTICE ON THE SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS FOR A PLACE ON THE
MASTER IN THE ELECTRIC POWER INDUSTRY
2015-2016 ACADEMIC YEAR
APPLICATION PROCESS
To apply for admission, the following requirements must be met:


It is essential to have an email address and indicate a mobile phone number to facilitate and ensure the timely
communications relating to the admission process.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
Along with the duly completed application form, you must submit the following documents:

If you have obtained the degree, original or certified copy of the degree certificate, or original or certified copy of proof of
having paid the fees for issuance of the degree certificate (if it has not been issued yet).
Foreign degree certificates must be authenticated prior to submission. The usual mechanisms for authentication are
through diplomatic channels or, in the case of degree certificates issued in countries that have subscribed to the Hague
Convention, by Apostille.

Original or certified copy of the full transcript, with number of credits and workload hours. If the course of study has not
been completed, a transcript of the courses completed so far shall be submitted.

If the degree certificate has been issued by Comillas, you only need to submit a photocopy of the degree certificate or of
proof of having paid the fees for issuance of the degree certificate (if it has not been issued yet) and a photocopy of the
academic transcript or record (intranet_alumnos).
The documents above must be in Spanish or accompanied by an official translation into Spanish. The official translation can be
done by a translator-interpreter duly authorized or registered in Spain, by any Spanish diplomatic or consular body abroad ,or any
diplomatic or consular delegation in Spain of the country of nationality of the applicant or, where applicable, of the country of
provenance of the document.

Photocopy of proof of ID or Passport.

Certificate of English language level.

Curriculum vitae in English.

Personal letter in English indicating the reasons why you wish to start or continue your postgraduate studies in this
University through the program selected and time availability to pursue these studies.

Two letters (in English or Spanish) of recommendation from university professors who have known the applicant or, failing
that, from directors of the company referring the student.
Regardless of the outcome of admission process, the documents submitted will not be returned (except original degree
certificates).
TIME AND PLACE OF APPLICATION SUBMISSION

The deadline for applications is June 30, 2015. If at the end of the registration process there are still available places, there
will be an extraordinary period for applications till September 7, 2015.

The requested documentation must be delivered personally or by certified mail at the University's Degree Certificates and
Transcripts Service, on C/Alberto Aguilera 23 - 28015 Madrid. Notwithstanding the foregoing, in order to process your
application in a swift manner, the documents required can be sent by email to the following email address

ADMISSION

The applicant may be called for a personal interview.
In any case, they must have demonstrated compliance with the access requirements to Official University Master's
Programs set forth in Article 16 of Royal Decree 1393/2007.

MÁSTER UNIVERSITARIO EN SECTOR ELÉCTRICO – MASTER IN THE ELECTRIC POWER INDUSTRY
CURSO 2015-2016
PROCEDIMIENTO
Para solicitar la admisión es necesario cumplir los siguientes requisitos:

Realizar la solicitud de admisión por Internet: www.upcomillas.es/admisiones

Es imprescindible disponer de correo electrónico y conveniente indicar un número de teléfono móvil para facilitar y
asegurar la recepción a tiempo de las comunicaciones relativas a la admisión.
DOCUMENTOS A PRESENTAR
Junto con el impreso de solicitud debidamente cumplimentado deben presentarse los siguientes documentos:

Original o fotocopia compulsada del título, u original o fotocopia compulsada del resguardo de haber abonado las tasas de
la solicitud del título (si no se tiene todavía).
En caso de ser un título extranjero debe presentarse legalizado. Los mecanismos habituales de legalización son por vía
diplomática o, en el caso de títulos expedidos en países que han suscrito el Convenio de la Haya, mediante la Apostilla de la
Haya.

Original o fotocopia compulsada del expediente académico completo, con número de créditos y de horas realizadas. En el
caso de no haber finalizado los estudios se entregará el expediente académico obtenido hasta el momento.

Si el título ha sido expedido por Comillas, sólo será necesario presentar una fotocopia del título o fotocopia del resguardo
de haber abonado las tasas de la solicitud del título (si no se tiene todavía) y una fotocopia del expediente o extracto del
mismo (intranet_alumnos).
Aquellos documentos que no estén expedidos en castellano deberán acompañarse de traducción oficial a dicho idioma. La
traducción oficial podrá hacerse por traductor-intérprete jurado debidamente autorizado o inscrito en España, por cualquier
Representación diplomática o consular del Estado Español en el extranjero o por la representación diplomática o consular en
España del país de que es ciudadano el solicitante o, en su caso, del de procedencia del documento.

Fotocopia del D.N.I. o Pasaporte.

Certificado de conocimiento de idiomas

Currículum vitae (redactado en inglés).

Escrito personal (redactado en inglés) indicando las razones por las que desea iniciar o continuar en esta Universidad sus
estudios de postgrado en el programa seleccionado y su disponibilidad de tiempo para cursar estos estudios.

Dos cartas de recomendación (redactadas en inglés o castellano) de profesores de universidad que hayan conocido al
solicitante o, en su defecto, de directivos de la empresa que envía al alumno
Con independencia del resultado de admisión, la documentación aportada no será devuelta (exceptuando originales de títulos).
PLAZO Y LUGAR DE ENTREGA DE LA SOLICITUD

El plazo de presentación de solicitudes finaliza el 30 de Junio de 2015. En caso de que existiesen plazas vacantes se abrirá
un plazo extraordinario de solicitudes hasta el 7 de Septiembre de 2015.

La documentación solicitada se debe entregar personalmente o por correo certificado en el Servicio de Gestión Académica
y Títulos de la Universidad, C/ Alberto Aguilera 23 - 28015 Madrid. Sin perjuicio de lo anterior, con el único objetivo de ir
agilizando la tramitación de su solicitud, la documentación puede ser adelantada por correo electrónico a la dirección
[email protected] .
ADMISIÓN

El solicitante podrá ser convocado a una entrevista personal.
En todo caso, se deberá haber acreditado el cumplimiento de los requisitos de acceso a las Enseñanzas Universitarias
Oficiales de Master establecidos en el artículo 16 del RD 1393/2007.
