BIÖGRAPHY
Amöniacö was born in Santiago in2008, currently formed by Carlos
Vandal in voice and guitars, Jano Perverso in bass and Joanne
in drums. The band´s alternative rock and darkwave style,
is influenced by The Cure and New Order. The first album, “Tu Fuego”,
was released in October 2011, and included the singles "Caer",
"Tu fuego" and "Aprendo a morir". In April 2013, Amöniacö
was in charge of the opening show of legendary british band
The Cure in the Estadio Nacional, during their Latam tour.
Amöniacö´s performance was well received by the critics,the
crowd, the press, all the relevant people in the musical industry
and Rober t Smith himself. “Time to change” was the first
single of what it will become the second album, it was recorded
and mixed at Studio Master by british producer and engineer
Barry Sage and mastered by Martin Bowes at The Cage Studios
in Coventry, United Kingdom. In May 2015 the band offered 2 shows
in Lima with local band Cardenales, where Amöniacö released
exclusive "Time to change" single version. En July 2015, the band
was selected by Converse Rubber Tracks to record a new single
at Lautaro Studios, it was the chance to work with Pablo Giadach.
The chosen song was "No volveré". In februar y the band
played at the well known Batuta to open local band Aterrizaje
Forzoso, and then in April played with The Cure tribute band
Fiction in Blondie discotheque. In June and July it was the time to
play at SCD Bellavista and Vespucio concert halls.
