Fire Resistant Glass
The requirements for the UNE-EN 357 norm have been met thanks
to thanks to this type of glass. “Vidrio para la edificación. Elementos acristalados con productos vítreos transparentes o
translúcidos resistentes al fuego. Clasificación de la resistencia al
fuego” regarding fire resistant protection for for categories EI 60
and EI 90, complying with the requirements of fire integrity to flames,
reduction of radiation and thermal insulation between 60 and 90
minutes. If a greater level of protection is required our Technical
department can be consulted.
As in all types of fire resistant glazing, it is the responsibility of the
installer to ensure that the glass is used in accordance with the authorisations and certifications and that the assembly complies
with the local regulations.
