Dear Parents/Guardians,
The quarter ends next Friday, October 7, 2016. If you paid for milk by the quarter,
don’t forget to pay for 2nd quarter.
Third grade will have their annual Saints’ Museum on Friday, October 7th.
At our first PTO meeting, I promised to share with you all the ways you can help
St. John School simply by what you purchase or recycle. Page 6 and 7 of this
newsletter list the locations and instructions to let your daily activities benefit the
school.
The St. John Knights of Columbus Fall Festival is this Saturday, October 1st beginning at
5:30 p.m. More information about the festival on page 3.Please continue to check your
children in the morning for the correct uniform.
Gala plans are continuing. Ideas for auction items or experiences are being accepted. If
you know of someone with a condo or cabin they would like to offer for a weekend stay,
please let us know. We are also in need of gift cards to restaurants or retail stores as well
as donated bottles of wine for our wine wall.
Please welcome our new Morning Star teacher, Mrs. Mary Baldwin. She brings a lot of
experience for our students with special needs.

El primer trimestre termina el próximo viernes 7 de octubre de 2016. Si usted paga el servicio de

El Festival de Otoño de los Caballeros de San Juan de Colón es éste sábado, 1ro de octubre
comenzando a las 5:30 pm. Mas información sobre el Festival se encuentra en al pagina 3 de este
boletin.
Favor de continuar comprobando que sus estudiantes estén usando el uniforme correcto en la mañana.
Siguen planes de gala. Se aceptan ideas para artículos de la subasta o experiencias. Si sabes de
alguien con un condo o una cabina que les gustaría ofrecer para un fin de semana, por favor
háganoslo saber. También estamos necesitando tarjetas de regalo para restaurantes o por menor
almacena así como donación de botellas de vino para la pared de nuestra vino..

Every time schools, teachers, students, parents and school supporters give a school's
5% Back to Schools Program ID number when buying school and office supplies at
Office Depot, that school will receive credits equal to 5% of the qualifying purchases to
use for free supplies. Credits are issued in the form of a merchandise card. A school
must have a minimum of $10 in credits for a merchandise card to be issued.
