Triune God,
Give us the courage of
these martyrs to live your
word even when it is difficult. We trust in you always, in Jesus’ name and
in the power of the Holy
Spirit.
Amen

Dear Parents/Guardians,

The quarter ends next Friday, October 7, 2016. If you paid for milk by the
quarter, don’t forget to pay for the 2nd quarter.

Third grade will have their annual Saints’ Museum on Friday, October 7th.

Just a reminder that the teachers have an all day in-service this Monday,
October 10th. There is no school for the students.

Gala plans are coming together. Tickets are on sale on our website. We still
need bottles of wine for our Wine Wall.

Families can continue saving and turning in to the school office the receipts
from Greers, CashSavers, and Greer's Ace or Food Tiger grocery stores. The
Apples for the Students program will run thirty weeks and allow SJS to obtain
school items throughout the campaign. See Page 7 and 8 for more ways to
support St. John.

St. John is participating with Wreaths Across America, a wonderful program
where wreaths are sponsored and placed on graves at Barrancas Cemetery at
the Naval Air Station. It’s a beautiful tribute. The order form is included with
this Messenger.
