Dear parents: At the last APO meeting we were discussing the

Dear parents:
At the last APO meeting we were discussing the importance of ensuring the safety of
children during school arrival and dismissal time.
That is why starting Monday December 8th we will implement new traffic rules.
In the morning:
Exiting the parking lot we ask you to please JUST turn to the right towards 19th
Street. Left turn will not be allowed between 7:00-8:00am as it creates traffic jams
during this time.
In the afternoon:
The parking lot gate will be closed. Please park your car and come to the playground
to pick up your student. We are doing this due to safety concerns of students
walking over the busy street by them selves, and we want to make sure student is
being given to only those who are listed to pick them up. We know that there is not
enough parking on Spruce, but there are many spaces in the blocks surrounding the
school. We ask you to please not block the entry of neighbor’s driveways and please
do not park in non-parking areas such as in front of fire hydrants.
The safety of our students is very important to us.

Queridos padres de familia.
En la última junta del APO estuvimos discutiendo la importancia de asegurar la
seguridad de los niños durante la llegada a la escuela y la hora de salida.
Es por eso que a partir del próximo lunes 8 de Diciembre vamos a implementar
nuevas regla de trafico.
En la mañana:
Al salir del estacionamiento les pedimos que por favor SOLO de vuelta hacia la
derecha rumbo a la calle 19. El girar a la izquierda no estará permitido entre 7:008:00am ya que causa problemas de trafico durante este tiempo.
En la tarde:
El portón del estacionamiento estará cerrado. Por favor estaciónese y baje de su
auto para recoger a su estudiante. Estamos haciendo esto por razones de seguridad
de los estudiantes que caminan solos por la calle muy transitada, y nosotros
queremos asegurarnos de que los estudiantes se entregan sólo a aquellos que están
en la lista para recogerlos. Sabemos de que no hay suficiente estacionamiento en la
calle Spruce pero hay muchos espacios en las cuadras que rodean la escuela. Les
pedimos que por favor no bloque la entrada del camino de los vecinos y por favor no
se estacione en áreas de no-estacionarse como en frente de la bomba hidrante de los
bomberos.
La seguridad de nuestros estudiantes es muy importante para nosotros.
