Mass Intentions: It is a very good practice to have Masses said for a deceased relative or friend, for the healing
grace of God, and for special intentions and Thanksgiving to God for favors received. I encourage you to have
Masses said for these intentions. We ask that if you want an intention prayed for at the weekend and daily Masses,
please have the request clearly printed in the parish office by Tuesday. It is good to have the names in the bulletin so
that the parishioners can pray for your intentions during the week. If you are having a Mass of Thanksgiving said for
Birthday, Anniversary or a Presentation of a Child please call our attention to that so that a beautiful certificate can
be prepared remembering this special day. Many people ask to have Masses offered during the year. Sometimes the
day and time that they would like is not available. If you do not mind sharing that Mass with another person please
let us know. If you prefer no other names on the intention for the Mass that will always be honored.
Sick List: We wish to send a Special Blessing for those people who are sick to know that by our ministry, our friendship
and our help, God’s love may be made real to them, let us pray to the Lord for the following;

The St. Mary's Annual Lenten Blood Drive is being held today, Sunday, March 13, 2016, from 8am-2:30pm.
Please consider donating at our drive. There is no substitute for human blood. One in three people will need
blood sometime during their lives. Blood only lasts 42 days. Your donation now is critically important. “Life
saving donations help many patients enjoy another tomorrow."
Cardinal’s Appeal. To date our Parish has pledge $10,445.00 toward the 2016 Cardinal’s Appeal, from
36 persons. For the Appeal to be truly successful, we must have the support of everyone to reach our goal of
$33,000.00. We invite you to make YOUR COMMITMENT TO THE APPEAL. AS THE BODY OF
CHRIST, WE ARE CALLED TO SERVE OTHERS OUT OF GRATITUDE TO OUR MOST
GENEROUS GOD. PLEASE CONSIDER A SACRIFICIAL PLEDGE TO THE 2016 CARDINAL’S
APPEAL. THANK YOU. During this time of economic hardship, this is the most important time to make a
special sacrifice and assist the work of the Cardinal’s Appeal. If you have been thinking and praying about a
gift or a pledge, may these thoughts help you to make a decision to make a sacrifice for those who need our help

On Monday, March 7th, the windows in the Rectory were replaced by new energy saving windows that work.
On May 9th we will begin work on removing the carpet in the sanctuary and replacing it with a wood floor.
Presently the altar is raised by two steps. In the new model the altar will be raised by one step.

Pope Francis has asked our parish to support Christians in the Holy Land. Through the Good
Friday Collection, you join with Catholics around the world to stand in solidarity with the
Church in the Holy Land. When you contribute to the Pontifical Good Friday Collection, you
become an instrument of peace in a troubled land. Christians, along with all of the clergy and
religious who serve in the Holy Land, will deeply appreciate your prayers and financial help!
The political, religious and military challenges in the Holy Land are more complex than ever.
The wars, unrest and instability have been especially hard on Christians. Our parish will
support Christians in the Holy Land through the Good Friday Collection, as requested by
Pope Francis. Like Simon of Cyrene, you can help carry the cross under very difficult
circumstances in the Holy Land.

Las intenciones de misas: es una muy buena práctica tener misas dice de un pariente o amigo
fallecido, por la gracia sanadora de Dios, y por intenciones particulares y la acción de gracias a Dios por los
favores recibidos. Los animo a tener misas, por estas intenciones. Le pedimos que si desea una intención oraron
por el fin de semana misas, tenga la solicitud claramente impreso en la oficina de la parroquia por el martes. Es
bueno tener los nombres en el boletín a fin de que los feligreses pueden orar por sus intenciones durante la
semana. Si usted está teniendo una Misa de acción de gracias para cumpleaños, aniversario o una presentación
de un niño llame nuestra atención a que para que un hermoso certificado puede ser preparado recordando este
día especial. Muchas personas preguntan a las misas han ofrecido durante el año. A veces el día y la hora en que
les gustaría no está disponible. Si no te importa compartir esa misa con otra persona, por favor háganoslo saber.
Si usted prefiere no hay otros nombres en la intención de la misa que siempre será honrado.
La Donación Cuaresmal de Sangre de Santa María se celebra hoy domingo,
13 de marzo de 2016 de 8am-2:30pm. Por favor considere hacer una donación a nuestra unidad. Para los
próximos dos domingos, los voluntarios estarán presentes en la parte posterior de la Iglesia para ofrecer
información, responder a sus preguntas y a registrarse para la unidad. Necesitamos saber cuántas personas van a
donar sangre suficiente para que los miembros del personal del Centro se pueda programar. No hay sustituto
para la sangre humana. Una de cada tres personas tendrá sangre en algún momento de sus vidas. La sangre sólo
dura 42 días. Su donación ahora es sumamente importante. "Donaciones ayudan a muchos pacientes disfrutar de
otra mañana."
Campaña de la Arquidiócesis. Hasta la fecha nuestra parroquia ha prometido $10,445.00 hacia la
Apelación 2016 del Cardenal, a partir de 36 personas. Para que el recurso sea realmente exitoso, debemos

Lunes, 7 de marzo, las ventanas en la rectoría fueron reemplazadas por nuevas ventanas de ahorro de energía
que funcionan. El 9 de mayo, comenzaremos a trabajar sobre la extracción de la alfombra en el santuario y su
sustitución con suelo de madera. Actualmente, el altar es planteado por dos pasos. En el nuevo modelo, el altar
se incrementará en un solo paso.

El Papa Francisco ha pedido a nuestra parroquia que apoyemos a los cristianos de Tierra Santa. A través de la
Colecta del Viernes Santo, se une con los católicos de todo el mundo para estar en solidaridad con la Iglesia en
Tierra Santa. Al contribuir a la Pontificia Colección del Viernes Santo, se convierte en un instrumento de paz en
una tierra con problemas. Cristianos, junto con todos los sacerdotes y religiosos que sirven en la Tierra Santa,
apreciarán profundamente sus oraciones y ayuda financiera! Los desafíos políticos, religiosos y militares en
Tierra Santa son más complejos que nunca. Las guerras, disturbios y la inestabilidad han sido especialmente
duro para los cristianos. Nuestra parroquia apoyará los cristianos en Tierra Santa durante el la Colección del
Viernes Santo, según lo solicitado por el Papa Francisco. Como Simón de Cirene, usted puede ayudar a llevar la
cruz en circunstancias muy difíciles en la Tierra Santa.
