wrestling and women’s category. This event takes place from
August 2nd to 8th, 2011 in the city San Francisco de Campeche
(Mexico).

GRECO- ROMAN, FREE WRESTLING AND WOMEN’S CATEGORY.
FROM AUGUST 2nd TO 8th, 2011.
SAN FRANCISCO DE CAMPECHE, CAMPECHE, MEXICO.
I. GENERAL INFORMATION.
The International Federation of Associated Wrestling Styles (FILA)
has entrusted to the Mexican Federation of Associated Wrestling
Styles, BC, and the Organization of the “Pan American Cadet
Championships” in Greco Roman style wrestling, free style
wrestling and women’s category.
The competitions are conducted in accordance with FILA rules and
regulations in force.
This tournament will be organized by the Mexican Federation of
Associated Wrestling Styles, AC, The Associated Wrestling
Association of the State of Campeche, AC, in coordination with the
Sports Institute of the State of Campeche and its Organizing
Committee held in the city of San Francisco Campeche, Campeche,
Mexico, the place designated for the Competition to take place.
II. PLACE AND DATE.
Competitions are held at the "Gymnasium of the Sports November
20" located on September 16th Av next to the Juan de la Cabada
Theatre, San Francisco de Campeche, Campeche, Mexico.
The competition hall has the capacity to accommodate 1,000
spectators and has facilities for the Athletes, Coaches, Delegates,
Referees and Journalists.
The event will take place from August 2nd to 8th, 2011
III. PARTICIPATION.
Participation in the " Pan American Cadet Championships”
wrestling is open to all countries affiliated to the FILA.
Each International Wrestling Federation can be able to participate
with 01 athlete by weight class and style (Greco Roman, Free and
Women’s category), including the venue.
IV. COMPETITION DEVELOPMENT.
Contests will be held under the rules of FILA.
Men’s Category: LL–GR 39-42, 46, 50, 54, 58, 63, 69, 76, 85, 85100 Kgs.
Women’s Category: LF 36-38, 40, 43, 46, 49, 52, 56, 60, 65, 65-70
Kgs.
 All matches will be recorded on video in case of disputes and will
be established under the terms agreed by the FILA.
V. VISA.
The countries that require visa to enter Mexico, must contact the
Organizing Committee and submit the following documents in a
timely manner.
 Send documentation and papers on letterhead of the National
Federation signed by the President, with the names and
copies of passports of all participants one month in advance.
 The application process for the countries of Colombia, Cuba,
Nicaragua, Haiti, must take place based on the times and
forms established by the existing immigration laws.
VI. REGISTRATION.
The preliminary registration form must be sent to the Organizing
Committee with a copy to the Mexican Federation of Associated
Wrestling Styles, BC, before June 12, 2011.
The nominal registration form with names should be sent to the
Organizing Committee with a copy to the Mexican Federation of
Associated Wrestling Styles, AC, no later than July 12, 2011.
The final registration form must be delivered to the secretariat of
the tournament at 12:00 hrs., the same day the Weighing will be
done, as shown in the program outlined in Annex. After that time,
we won’t accept amendments or additional entries.
VII. TECHNICAL ORGANIZATION.
The championships are conducted in accordance with FILA current
rules and regulations in force.
It can be accepted a maximum of 2 judges/referees according to
the number of fighting mattresses per country.
Promotion arbitration clinics will be developed. One is including 3rd
to 2nd category, and a second one that includes 2nd and 1st
category.
In the competition will be using two OJUMP brand mattresses
already approved by FILA.
Each wrestler will undergo a mandatory medical examination one
(1) hour before the respective weighing.
The classification by nation will be based on the individual ranking
of wrestlers from 1st to 10th place accordingly to this ranking they
will receive from 10 to 1 point.
VIII. AWARDS.
The organizing committee will award the prize in each weight
division.

IX. OFFICIAL CEREMONIES.
The teams’ participation during the opening and closing
ceremonies is a mandatory matter.
During the awards ceremony, the International Flags of the first 3
ranked wrestlers will be flown. Also carry out the national anthems
of the wrestler who won first place in his/her honor.
Each International Delegation should bring the flag of its country
(1.00 x 1.50 mts.) and a CD with their national anthem.
X. FINANCIAL CONDITIONS.
In order to participate, each National Federation must pay the sum
of 90 USD (American) a day per person, which includes lodging,
meals and local transportation.

Due to hotel saturation reasons during the Pan American Cadet
event, the organizing committee does not undertake to guarantee
housing for non-compliant countries in a timely manner with your
payment.
Any delegation that want or need to bring additional people and /
or stay in our country after the end of the Championship, then noon
on Monday 08 August, must l pay the sum of 110 USD (American)
per person and inform the organizing committee well in advance.

The heads of delegations will be responsible for damage or failure
caused by members of his delegation and must pay the costs.
Food and Meals will be provided in the hotels hosting the event.
Alternate airports:
There are two alternate airports near the City of San Francisco de
Campeche, Merida’s Yucatan airport 180 km. Distance with a time
of approximately 2 hours land transportation. And Ciudad Del
Carmen’s Campeche airport 230 km away with a time of 2 ½ hours
land transportation.
The Organizing Committee guarantees the transfer from San
Francisco de Campeche’s airport and bus terminals into the
corresponding host hotel. Delegations arriving alternate airports
will have to cover their expenses to the host city.
