We a r e i n r e c e i p t of your l e t t e r of June 2 6 t h , 1946, and
have g i v e n i t s c o n t e n t our f u l l e s t a t t e n t i o n .

Dowry Fund. We confirm our t e l e g r a m of J u l y 7 t h , by which we informed
you t h a t u n t i l today we have r e c e i v e d no funds f o r t h i s p r o j e c t .
In
accordance w i t h your l e t t e r , we send you e n c l o s e d h e r e w i t h a l i s t of
a l l the m a r r i a g e s t h a t have t a k e n p l a c e i n our community from L i b e r a t i o n u n t i l t o d a y , t h e number of which amounts to 1 3 6 . One must cons i d e r t h a t we have 15 o t h e r a p p l i c a t i o n for m a r r i a g e p e r m i t , and by
the end of 1947 the number of marriages w i l l amount t o 200. As you
w i l l n o t e i n the l i s t t h a t we send you, t h e names t h a t a r e marked
w i t h a dot a r e the ones who did not or w i l l n o t r e c e i v e t h e amount of
200.00 d r s . , because of the f a c t t h a t they a r e not needy.
I n t h i s c o n n e c t i o n we wish to inform y o u , as we have a l r e a d y done i n our l e t t e r of May 29th of t h i s y e a r , t h a t i n o r d e r t o
b e g i n to pay out t h o s e d o w r i e s , we were o b l i g e d t o t a k e a l o a n . Theref o r e we r e q u e s t t h a t the amount of $5,000 be given to us d i r e c t l y .

the 7 t h of t h i s month, u n t i l today we have no I n d i c a t i o n of the a r r i val of those s h o e s . We s u g g e s t t h a t you make the n e c e s s a r y i n q u i r i e s
w i t h t h e J o i n t i n New York, so t h a t they i n t u r n can give t h e n e c e s s a r y

Estamos en reception de vuestra lettra del 26
Junio 1946, el oontenido de la quala touvo nuestra
mijor attention.
Projeto de dota. Confirmamos nuestro telegrapho del
7 Guilio, por el qual vos informavamos que fin o'y non
reoivimos nigun montante de este projeto. Conformamente a vuestra lettra vos remettemos inoluso lista
de todos los casamientos etchos en nuestra Communitad
dizde la Liberation fin oy, y donde el nombre se
eleva a 136. Ay de tomar en consideration que tenemos otras 15 demandas de permis de casamiento, 1 fin
el anio 1947 el numbero de los casamientos se va
elevar a 200. Como vaoh a remarquar en la lista que
vos mandamos, los nombres signalados con un punto
oorelado, son aqueyos que non ressivieron o non van a
ressivir el montante de 200.00 drs., del fato que
eyos non son menesterosos.
A este sujetto vos informamos como ya vo la
izimos saver en nuestra lettra del 29 Mayo a.c. que
para empessar a dar estas dotas, fuemos ovligados de
tomar paras emprestadas. Es por esto que vos demandimos que la suma de 5000 Dollars mos seya remettida
directamente.
1000 pares de calsados.- Ansi que vo lo izimos saver
en nuestro telegrapho del 7 ort., fin oy non tenemos
nigun aviso por el arivo de estos calsados. Estariamos
del aviso que agaoh las demarches menesterosas serca
el JOINT de New Xork afin que el a su torno de las
instructiones menesterosas a la Centrala de Atena, afln
que estos calsados mos seyan remettidos directamente
en Salonico.
