For this summer, the latest colour is beige. The marine look in this year is “in”.
Harems-trousers are a must-have in this summer. But when you still love the hippie
style then this summer is your summer. For the perfect look, straw hats are great.
Beauty
These tips can help you to have a cool and nice look at the beach! A “no-go” is the
raccoon look, so use waterproof mascara, eyeliner, and eye shadow.
Instead of powder use toned vanishing crème.
For suntan use a bronze powder (not at the beach but rather for a date).
Perfume makes spots. The solution is: spray it in your hair.
If you want to guard your hair, use UV-protection.
After the sunbath use special shampoos and sprays.
In place of lip gloss use kiss-proof felt pen for the lips.
All in all I would say: let’s get the summer started.

Harry Potter – The books
1-2
Harry Potter is a little boy whose parents are killed when he was young by
a diabolic wizard who is named Lord Voldemort. So he lives with his aunt,
who hates him. When he is eleven he comes to know, that he is a
magician. He gets a letter from the Hogwarts School, the school for magic.
There he meets friends: Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger. But also
he meets Draco Malfoy, a boy who always makes fun of Harry. In the first
book, mysterious happenings happen in Hogwarts. In the end, he fights for
the Philosopher’s Stone, versus Mr. Quirrel, a supporter of Voldemort. With
the Philosopher’s Stone, you can make gold and become immortal.
In the second book some people are suddenly petrified in Hogwarts. Harry
finds out that the Chamber of Secrets, a mysterious hall in Hogwarts, is
opened again. There a big monster sleeps that is woken up by a
mysterious person. Will Harry kill the monster or imprison it again? Will he
find out about the mysterious person? Read these books to know it!!!

This is the seventh and last fight of Harry Potter; Hermione Granger and Ronald
Weasley. It is the last film, but the best. It is a life and death struggle. J. K.
Rowling is the author of these seven books.
In this seventh and last part of the Harry Potter story, he, Hermione, and Ron are
teenagers. If you remember in the first part of this series (Harry Potter and the
Philosopher's Stone), he was eleven years old. Harry is not safe in Hogwarts.
Everywhere Harry goes, Voldemort and his Death Eaters follow him. Harry Potter
is the chosen one to beat Voldemort and his followers and, of course, the Death
Eaters. In order to beat Voldemort you need the Horkruxes. Harry and his friends
want to find and destroy all Horkruxes. All together there are seven Horkruxes.
Ginny, the sister of Ron, is the girlfriend of Harry Potter. In these hard times she is
there for Harry and she gives him power for this long fight to beat the dark side.
Nobody knows the outcome, but many will die. Snape tries to support Harry as
much as he can. In this seventh part there are many fights. But one is the important
fight: The slaughter of Hogwarts. Someone has to die: Harry, the good side, or
Voldemort, the dark side?
Everyone on the world is going to be present and is going to give Harry power.
Will the good side win?
The film is in Germany's cinemas 14th July. 2011.
Honey2
It’s the latest dance movie in the cinema. It is
the story of Maria Bennett (Katerina Graham), a
young dancer with a big dream.
She wants to be a real dancer. But her crew
kicks her out and she sits in prison. Some days
later she is sentenced to do social work. Her
foster mother Connie (Lonette McKee) works at
the dance studio “Honey”.
So Maria works there as a care taker and
meets Brandon (Randy Wayne) and his friends.
They ask her if she wants to dance with them.
But Maria is not in the mood.
As a second job she works in a little shop because she needs money.
Her ex-boyfriend Luis (Christopher 'War' Martinez), convinces her to dance in
his crew “718” again and she says “yes”. But he wants Maria as a victim
for his dark plan.
So Maria goes to Brandon’s crew, the “HD”, and choreographs a cool
dance for the dance battle. Maria is in love with Brandon. He teaches
her the differences between the dance arts, such as: ballet and break
dance. Those new dance arts help them to win the half final. Suddenly
Luis takes one of Maria’s dancers out of her crew. But after a few days
the girl comes back because Luis made her steel things and while she
was doing that she hurt her arm. So Maria’s crew is weakened.
When they dance vs. Luis and his crew they don’t win, but they don’t
lose either! It is a tie! So they do a battle “Dance or Die“.

Break-dance:
Break-dance is a dance form which you dance on the street. You dance
to pop, funk and hip-hop. Break-dance was born in New York. You dance
in your normal clothes.
The German tradition of “Garde“:
You dance to classical music. You see it during carnival. The dancers
have a uniform with a funny hat and a wig. A wig is artificial hair. You
must be very athletic. They always smile and create a good mood.
There are five arts of “Garde” dance :
“couple”, „female Garde“ , “ mixed Garde”, “Tanzmariechen“ & “Show
dance“.
Jazz dance :
Jazz dance is a dance form which often girls are dancing. The dancer
go to many contest. The costumes are very different: Sometimes very
nice and playful or Rock’n Roll and wild. The music is pop.

What you see first is the display. The “S2“ comes with a 4.3 inch super
amoled plus display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels.
The iPhone has a 3.5 inch Retina display (it is so sharp that your eye
can't see pixels anymore) and has a resolution of 960 x 640 pixels.
That means that the text is crisper and sharper.
This point goes to both phones.
Processors:
The S2 has a 1.2 dual-core Samsung exynos processors. The iPhone has
a 1 ghz Apple A4 chip.
This point goes to Samsung Galaxy S2 because there's a huge
difference between the speeds of both phones.
Operating system:
The S2 runs with android 2.3 gingerbread. The iPhone runs with iOS
4.3.3.
We think that this point is a tie but you must decide on your own
because iOS has more Apps but android is an open operating system.
Multimedia:
The S2 comes with an 8 mega pixel camera that records 1080p full HD
video. It has HSDPA+, with 21 Mbits, that means that you can surf in
the internet faster when you're on tour. The iPhone has a 5 mega pixel
camera that records “only“ 720p HD video. It has HSDPA, with 7.2
Mbits.
This point goes definitely to the S2, because the specs are much
higher on the S2.
App-store:
The S2 comes with the operating system android that means the Appstore is the Android-market. It has about 390.000 apps for YOU. The
iPhone comes with the Apple App- store. This has about 400.000 apps.
The quality on the App- store is a little bit higher, but for every app
you need an account. On the Android market is the quality a little less,
but there're more free apps. However, you need an account if you buy
an app that costs something. You can only pay with credit card, which
children under 18 haven’t got.
This point goes to both, because the apps from the App- store are
more expensive but they have more quality. The App- store has more
apps too.
We think the Android market will tie the App- store in a few months
(or a year) in the number of apps.
Browser:
The S2 has a very good browser. It has everything like adobe flash
10.1. That means you can watch videos in the internet when they pop up.
The iPhone can't do that, but it has the popular safari browser.
That point goes to the S2, because scrolling, pinching and stuff like
this are smoother on the S2
Battery:
The S2 has a 1650 MaH battery. The iPhone has a 1450 MaH battery.
This point goes definitely to the S2, because the battery is stronger
and you can use it longer.
Price:
The S2 has 16 GB internal memory. You can extend with a microsd
card.
It costs 515 €.
The iPhone 4 with 16 GB costs about 602€. You can't extend the
memory.
This point goes definitely to the S2.
Summary and our opinion:
The Samsung Galaxy S2 has better technical specs than the iPhone.
Look at the processors, browser, battery, and multimedia.
And it is cheaper than the iPhone 4.
The iPhone 4 has a little bit better App- store and it has the better
name. When you can forget that the browser can play Flash (but it has
also a very good browser).
We would wait for the iPhone 5 and compare THEM.
Vincent: I'd wait for the iPhone 5 and if it's not so
good as the S2 I'd buy the S2.
Julian K.: I'd buy the iPhone 4, because the apps are
better and it gives more. And it feels better in the
hand.
Deniz: I'd buy the iPhone 4, because it has a better
name.

Finally: classical music is as good as any other music.
An articel:
Most people think that classical music is out and boring and
for freaks and so on. Some sing with their voice or play
classical music with their instruments because classical music
makes fun. For teenager it is a different free time activity
because they learn so much and then they can relax. For
example: A class from Edinburgh plays classical music with
their instruments. They sometimes play concerts. We think it
is great to be able to play an instrument.
Good Advice
A little girl from New York tells us, I listen to classical music
but I’m afraid that my friends won’t like me any more if I tell
them that I love classical music. So I told nobody that I like
it. On a Friday last month my parents wanted to go to the
national theatre with me. I thought that it will be horrible but
I was wrong and surprised: It was great. As I heard how good
the choir in the national theatre is, I began to like classical
music. So in my school is a choir too and I want to know if I
should go into the choir? But I’m afraid that my friends laugh
at me.
A reporter of our magazine: I think that you can go into the
choir in your school and your friends will understand it if they
are real friends.
A game review of Outland
Outland is a jump 'n run game, which is made by Ubisoft.
It's a 2D/3D game and takes place at a tropical forest. It's varied and very colourful.
In Outland you are a warrior of the light and the dark who tries
to find a balance between the two sides. You have to fight against bugs and final bosses.
You have to collect light (blue) and dark (red) energies to fight against monsters.
You can kill dark monster only with light energy and light with dark energy.
After a while you learn special attacks with dark and light energy.
You can collect objects to unlock extras like new weapons.
You can also play with a friend in a challenge or in the story mode.
You can play in the arcade mode too.
It’s actually a 2D game, but it has many special effects
As example the special moves.
It's a very funny and exciting game for everyone who's older than six.
It's a download game for PS3, Xbox. It costs 6€ at the Play Station Store.

So when you have PSN (Play Station Network) or XBLA (Xbox Live Abo)
It’s one of the best games you can download.

KICK-ASS
KICK-ASS is a really interesting film with cool actors like: Nicolas Cage,Aaron Johnson, Chloë Moretz and Christopher
Mintz-Plasse.
It’s about a normal student who wants to be a superhero that’s why he buys a wetsuit and bats.
One day he goes out. He sees two boys. They want to steal a car. He tells them that they can’t do this. One boy goes to him and
stabs him with a knife. They run away. Then KICK-ASS walks to the street. There comes a car and runs him over. He must go
into a hospital. There he gets steel implants. He doesn’t feel anything because his nerves are destroyed.
Once he is healthy again, he starts to help people again. On one night he goes out to help people but he can’t help anybody.
Until a man runs on the street KICK-ASS walks over the street and the man falls over his leg. After that three men run to him,
they knock the man out. That’s why KICK-ASS guards him. One boy sees it and films it with his mobile phone. He uploads it
on youtube. A few days later everybody knows KICK-ASS.

L.A. Noire
L.A. Noire is set in the 40s in America. You play as
Cole Phelps who comes from the Vietnam War.
First you are a police patrol and you are so good
that you get a promotion to detective in the traffic
department, than you solve a very difficult case
and get another promotion to homicide (they deal
with murder). You solve many cases as you
discover that something with the cases is wrong
you are distrustful and get another promotion to
the vice department. There you deal with very
difficult cases like drugs. In the end you come to
know the true story about L.A. Noire
The game is typical for the 40s. The graphics are
really good and realistic, because the motion scan is
a new version of graphics.
It’s a really good game. It has got action, the style of
the 40s and is really exciting, but the control is not
so good.
