First Friday Healing Mass
While every Mass is a healing Mass, we dedicate Mass on
the First Friday of each month as “A Special Healing
Mass.” At this Mass, we ask God to
bless all the sick (physically,
psychologically,
mentally
and
spiritually). We will also pray for all the
caregivers. Please join us for Mass on
April 1st at 9:00 AM.
Misa de Sanación del Primer Viernes
Aun que cada misa sea una misa de sanación, dedicamos
la misa del primer viernes de cada mes como "Misa
Especial de Sanación. " En esta misa le pedimos a Dios
que bendiga a todos los enfermos (físicamente,
psicológicamente, mentalmente y espiritualmente).
También oraremos por todos los que los cuidan. Por
favor, acompáñenos en la misa el 1º de abril a las 9:00
AM.
First Friday Adoration
On Friday, April 1st, the parish will hold its 1st Friday
Adoration. Adoration will begin in the Chapel immediately
following the 9:00 AM Mass and continue through 9:00
PM. All parishioners are invited to spend some
time with our Lord anytime during these hours.

The Women of St. Frances Cabrini will be
having a Wine and Hors d’oeuvre Social on
Friday, April 1st at the Family Life Center from
6:30 to 8:30 PM. Bring your favorite wine or
snack to share and enjoy an evening of fun,
food and fellowship. All women of the parish are invited!

Please join us Saturday, April 2 from 9:00 AM to
12:00 PM in the Family life Center to celebrate
Divine Mercy. We will start with breakfast and a speaker
then have confessions and proceed to the church
to recite the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.

Por favor acompáñenos el sábado 2 de abril de
9:00 AM a 12:00 PM en el Centro Familiar para
celebrar la Divina Misericordia. Comenzaremos con un
desayuno y luego tendremos un discurso de un invitado.

a la iglesia para rezar la Coronilla de la Divina

Knights of Columbus - Corporate Communion
On Saturday, April 2nd, at the 5:00 PM
Mass, there will be a Corporate
Communion with Knights and their
families. There will be a potluck dinner in
the FLC after Mass. All Knights and their
families as well as surviving family members of deceased
Knights are invited and urged to attend and sit together.
We celebrate our family of Knights and show our support
of the Church. We receive Communion as a body as we do
with our families to show we are a brotherhood and as
such a member of a much larger family than just our own
homes.
2016 North Texas Catholic Men’s Conference
In conjunction with the Jubilee Year of
Mercy, all men 18 years of age or older
are invited to attend the 5th Annual
North Texas Catholic Men’s Conference,
“Mercy and Virtue: Our Faith in Action.” The conference
will take place Saturday, April 23, 2016, at St. Francis of
Assisi Catholic Church in Grapevine, 861 Wildwood Lane,
from 8 AM to 6 PM. Conference speakers include Fr.
Wade Menezes of The Fathers of Mercy; noted author
Vinny Flynn (“7 Secrets of Divine Mercy”); “Man Up”
author
Jared
Zimmer;
plus
award-winning
composer/musician Curtis Stephan. Attendees will
experience a day of fun, food, fellowship, uplifting music,
reconciliation, praying the rosary, Eucharistic adoration
and conclude the day with a community Mass at 5 PM. A
hot breakfast and boxed lunch is provided in the cost that
begins at $40 or $69 for two through April 18, 2016.

Divine Mercy Sunday

Sunday, April 3 is Divine Mercy Sunday. We will have a
Mass at 3:00 PM, but will begin with a procession from
the grotto to the church. Before Mass, we
will pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet. Please
meet at grotto at 2:30 PM

El domingo 3 de abril es el Domingo de la
Divina Misericordia. Tendremos una misa a
las 3:00 PM, pero comenzaremos con una
procesión del cerrito a la iglesia. Antes de la misa
rezaremos la Coronilla de la Divina Misericordia. Por favor

Scholarship Opportunities
The Women of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church is
offering $1,000.00 scholarships to the 2016 graduating
seniors of our parish. These scholarships are only offered
for the current school year and can be used at any
educational institution. You may pick up an application
from the office or contact Erica Espinoza for more
information.
The Rio Cantu Memorial Scholarship will be
available to a college bound senior from St. Frances
Cabrini. You may pick up an application from the office or
contact Erica Espinoza for more information.
Hungering for Celebration
We prayed, fasted and gave alms – and now we
celebrate! Our Lenten journey with CRS Rice Bowl ends in
our own hearts, where Jesus reign forever. Let us rejoice
in our risen Lord – and in the lives we’ve changed this
Lent in Colombia, Laos, Rwanda, Honduras, Madagascar
and all over the world! Don’t forget to turn in your CRS
Rice Bowl by Sunday, April 3rd.

Oramos, ayudamos y aportamos donativos – ¡y ahora
celebramos! Nuestra jornada de Cuaresma con Plato de
Arroz de CRS termina en nuestros propios corazones,
donde Jesús reina por siempre. ¡Alegrémonos en nuestros
Señor Resucitado – y en las vidas que hemos cambiado
esta Cuaresma en Colombia, Laos, Ruanda, Honduras,
Madagascar y en todo el mundo! No se le olvide entregar
