Present progressive: it is usually used to describe an activity in progress. it is
formed with the verb be and the present participle.

quantity: general
if we want to talk about quantity we use words such as:
some, any, much, many, alot, a little a few, no, none, all, every, each, both, etc.
all : like adjective indicate an activity a totality, a general sense.
example: all england will watch this match.
when it procedes to a determined ( article, possesive, demonstrative) it indicates a
divide totality.
example: all the persons.
all my friends.
much, many, more, most, too much, many, so much, and how much
we construct them directly with the nouns that they qualify,when these nouns are
not determinate for a possesive or demonstrative adjective.
example: much of my time is spent doing uninteresting things.
a little: we use this if we want to indicate a small quantity of uncountables or much
in the negative.
a few: for countables use it ( there are a few bananas ) or many in the negative
(there are not many bananas )
note: little and few are negative terms near of zero, and a few and a little are
positive.
many: to indicate a large quantity use many for countable ( there are many eggs in
the refrigerator ) .
a lot of: use it for countables or uncountables (there is a lot of money in the
drawer, there is a lot of peaches in the box. )
some and any: express indefinite quantities. they are used before either an
uncountable noun or a plural count noun. some is used in affirmative sentences
and in some question; any is used in negative sentences and in most questions.
