The Solemnity
of the Most Holy Trinity
It would seem appropriate on this Most Holy Trinity Sunday
that we focus on the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit in
light of a stewardship way of life. Stewardship has been defined as “the grateful and responsible use of God’s gifts in the
light of God’s purpose as revealed in Jesus Christ. Christian
stewards, empowered by the Holy Spirit, commit themselves
to conscious, purposeful decisions.”
In other words, just as the Blessed Trinity is no accident,
neither is stewardship. It is our response to God’s gifts.
Furthermore, it involves us making “conscious and purposeful” decisions about how we will live our lives, and how we
will use the many gifts we have received to serve God and to
serve God’s purposes.
In today’s Gospel from John, the Lord proclaims that the
Holy Spirit will “guide you to all truth.” Stewardship is truth;
it is the way we are called to see our lives and to live our
lives. It is a God-centered way of living. Catholic Christian
stewardship is using the gifts God has given us, to do the
work God has called us to do. One of the primary objectives
of our lives is to discern and carry out God’s purpose for us.
What is our personal mission? Do you hear God’s call to be
truer within your faith and beliefs?

24 hours a day, 7 days a week in the Perpetual Eucharistic
Adoration (PEA) Chapel in the St. Ann Center. Committed adorers
are needed to spend one hour each week with Jesus in the PEA

Masses.
Nine consecutive Masses will be celebrated for the intention of those
participating in the Novena. This Novena of Masses will be celebrated
beginning Father’s Day Sunday June 16, 2013 through June 24, 2013.
Masses may be offered for the living or deceased. This tradition of the
Church applies the special fruits and graces of the Mass by the will of
the priest for the benefit of specific persons and intentions.
Father’s Day Cards and Mass offering envelopes are located in the narthex of the Church during Sunday Masses. Please fill out the offering
envelope, insert your offering and place the envelope in the collection
basket. The beautiful greeting card is yours to send.

The Beginning Experience is a peer ministry for separated, divorced, or widowed individuals. It is a weekend program to help
move from the darkness of grief into the light of a new beginning of hope for the future. While this ministry is rooted in the
Catholic tradition, it is open to men and women of all faiths. The

All donations of canned, boxed or factory-sealed bags of food are
appreciated.
Christian Community Action has supplied a list of the most needed

macaroni and cheese, canned meats and fish (tuna/salmon)

Kids Eat Free!!!
Looking for something to do with your kids this summer? Need
some community service hours? Please join us in feeding needy
kids in our community by volunteering to help in our KIDS EAT
FREE ministry. We meet Mon-Thurs. at 10:30 am in the kitchen
across from the Assembly Room. Start date is Mon. June 10 Thurs. Aug. 22. We will be stuffing paper bags with lunch items
and delivering them to the Golden Triangle Mobile Home Park

Patriotic Photo Display Case
Church History
The St Ann Knights of Columbus are proud to have sponsored
the development and creation of a Patriotic Photo Display case
that has been erected in the Church hallway, leading to the Narthex.
The Patriotic Photo Display case will honor those St Ann Parishioners and their immediate family members who are serving on
ACTIVE Duty in our Armed Forces.
The case was designed and constructed as an Eagle Scout project
by Scout Troop 841 member, Jake Radcliff, and will be administered by the St Ann Knights of Columbus 4th Degree Assembly.
So, if you are a St Ann Parishioner and have a Parent, Spouse or
in-Law, Sibling, Child, or Grandchild, serving on Active Duty in
one of our Nation’s Branches of Service, you may submit a photo
of that family member for display in the case.
The photos will be posted on a monthly basis and will remain for
at least one month depending upon volume received and available
space. Photos may be displayed more than one time.
Submission forms and additional information are available on the
Welcome Cart in the Narthex and will be posted on the Parish
web site, stannparish.org.
Church History illustrates how a community, guided by the Holy
Spirit, has evolved throughout the centuries. These events and actions are filled with joy and sorrow that remember an essential truth
for us: We are the Mystical Body of Christ in human history, in the

We are truely blessed with some beautiful shawls to share with anyone who might be
going through a difficult time ( illness, grief, etc). These can also be a wonderful baby or
wedding gift. Please contact me on my cell, 214-616-3789.
If you have any inclination to join us, we do provide fellowship, instruction, and fun. We
welcome those of you out there that do crochet and knit and will provide materials
and instuction for those of you who might not know yet how to construct a shawl,
and, as always, it is not the product but the prayers that are most important.
Our morning group will be taking a rest for the summer (June, July and August). The
evening group will continue to gather June, July and August on the second Thursday
of the month(6/13, 7/11 and 8/8) at 7 pm and we are moving to Rm 315 for the
summer. As it is daylight savings time, it will be light later and that might help some

Last week we all heard from our young adult speaker looking
for support for their mission trip to Peru. They have raised

Hay Sacramento de Reconciliación inmediatamente después de la

Cuando vamos de excursión hay una inmensa diferencia entre
tener o no un guía. Sin un guía, puedes desviarte y perderte. Un
guia te mantiene en el camino correcto y lejos de peligro. En
nuestro caminar y el camino de la Iglesia, es importante saber
que tenemos un guia. Nuestro guía, el Espíritu de verdad, nos
informa de diferentes maneras: a través de enseñanzas de la Iglesia, los sacramentos, la Biblia o por la meditación personal.
Cuando nos sintamos desorientados podemos recordar con fe la
promesa de Jesús: Tu guía, el Espíritu de verdad está contigo.

19 millones de personas son afectadas por uno de los tipos
de Depresión. Muchos no buscan el tratamiento adecuado.
La Ansiedad es el miedo y angustia desordenados que
interfiere con nuestras funciones comunes.

en una bendición especial para ustedes.
Celebremos la venida del Espíritu Santo
el consolador.
Será una noche muy especial.
Habrá alabanza con música y la exposición del Santísimo.
Vengan simplemente a Saludar a Nuestro Señor.

El 9 de Junio a la misa de las 2PM.
Trae tu capa y tu birrete para que procedan al inicio
y el Padre les de una bendición especial.
Después de la misa, tendremos una pequeña
recepción con tu familia en el
Salon de Asambleas.
Es necesario nos llamen para saber con cuantas
personas contamos.
