Mientras se dirigen hacia sus lugares, el sacerdote ve a la parte posterior del altar, se inclina y lo besa, antes de ir a su silla. El altar es un sı́mbolo del Cuerpo de Cristo y como tal lo reverenciamos. No lo tratamos como una mesa ordinaria y solo ponemos en el lo necesario para la celebració n de la Liturgia Eucaristica: el caliz y el puri icadcor, el corporal, el pan y el vino y el Sacramentario con el cual el sacerdote nos guiara en las oraciones.
