School’s Out! How Can I Help my Child at Home During the Summer?
This session will begin with local representatives sharing summer
community events and programs available for students with disabilities.
This session will conclude with a presentation in which you will learn ideas on
how you can help keep your child learning during the summer in a fun, engaging
way. Activities will be shared on things you can do as a family that are fun,
inexpensive, and will help your child avoid the learning slump that usually occurs
during the summer. A summer resource guide will be provided.

¡Llegaron las vacaciones! ¿Cómo puedo ayudar a mi hijo en la casa
durante el verano?
Esta sesión comenzará con representantes locales que compartirán eventos de la
comunidad a llevarse a cabo en el verano y programas disponibles para los
estudiantes con discapacidades. También concluirá con una presentación en la
que aprenderá ideas sobre cómo puede ayudar a su hijo a aprender durante el
verano en una manera interesante y divertida. Las actividades se tratarán de
cosas que usted podrá hacer como familia que son divertidas, económicas y le
ayudarán a su hijo a evitar el tiempo de vacaciones sin aprender nada que
usualmente ocurre durante el verano. Se proporcionará una guía de recursos para
el verano.
