A bilingual Mass will be offered on the Solemnity of St. Joseph,
Patron of the Universal Church on Thurs., March 19 at 7:30 PM.
The Mass will include anoin ng with St. Joseph’s Oil, blessed oil
from St. Joseph’s Oratory, Montreal. The oil originated with
St. Andre Besse e (Brother Andre) who healed many through
the intercession of St. Joseph.

First Monthly 50/50 Drawing
on Sun., March 29th
Registered parishioners have received their first monthly
50/50 envelope chances for the month of March. The
envelopes should be returned in the collec on no later than
Sun., March 29th. They can also be mailed to the rectory.
The drawing will be held in the rectory basement at 1:15 PM
on the last Sunday of the month, Sun., March 29, following
the 12 Noon Mass. As of March 8, the level was already at
$455: $225 for St. Patrick’s and $230 for the winner.
Simply place $5 in cash or check into the envelope.
Envelopes are available by the church entrances; just make
sure to write a telephone number or email address on the
envelope (the printed envelopes do not call for a telephone
number) along with your complete mailing address. Your full
name must be wri en legibly on the envelope in order to
par cipate in the raffle.
If you submit one envelope with a contribu on of $10, an
addi onal envelope will be filled out for you, or if you submit
an envelope with $15, two addi onal envelopes will be filled
out for you, and so on.
If former parishioners wish to receive a supply of 50/50
envelopes and mail them back on a monthly basis, we would
be grateful for their support. Visitors are also welcome to
submit a 50/50 envelope.
If we receive 120 envelopes by Sun., March 29, the parish
would receive $300 and the winner $300. If we could average
that amount of par cipa on each month, the parish would
receive $3600 in the course of a year.

Annual Catholic Appeal 2015
The goal set by the Diocese of Brooklyn for St. Patrick’s
Parish in the Annual Catholic Appeal 2015 is again $14,044.
Father Powers asks for a commitment from all parishioners at
the level of $250 ($25 monthly for ten months.)
Once St. Patrick’s achieves its goal, all monies received will
be returned to our parish and used for the repair & renova on
of our beloved but aging church. The parish received $1283
from the 2014 ACA once we reached our goal of $14,044.
All parishioners should contribute to this important fund.

Primer Sorteo Mensual 50/50,
domingo 29 de marzo
Los feligreses inscritos en la parroquia han recibido el primer
sobre mensual del 50/50 para el mes de marzo. Los sobres
deben de ser depositados en la colecta no más tarde del
domingo 29 de marzo o pueden ser enviados por correo a la
casa parroquial. El sorteo tendrá lugar, en el sótanos de la casa
parroquial, el úlƟmo domingo del mes, dom., 29 marzo a la
1:15 pm, inmediatamente después de la misa de 12. Para el
domingo, 8 de marzo, el nivel del 50/50 ya estaba en $455:
$225 para San Patricio y $230 para el ganador.
Simplemente deposite $5.00 en efecƟvo o cheque en el sobre.
Hay sobres disponibles a la entrada de la iglesia. Asegúrese de
escribir su número de teléfono o su correo electrónico en el
sobre (los sobres impresos no piden un número de teléfono),
además de su nombre completo y dirección. Escriba su nombre
claramente legible para poder parƟcipar en la rifa.
Si pone $10 en su sobre, se llenará otro sobre con su nombre,
si pone $15 se llenarán dos sobres con su nombre, y así
sucesivamente.
Si un anƟguo feligrés desea recibir sobres para el 50/50 y los
retorna por correo mensualmente a la iglesia, agradeceremos
mucho su apoyo. Quienes estén de visita pueden también
llenar un sobre del 50/50.
Si para el 29 de marzo recibimos 120 sobres, la parroquia
recibirá $300 y el ganador otros $300. Si podemos mantener
esa canƟdad de parƟcipantes como promedio cada mes,
la parroquia recibiría $3,600 en el transcurso de un año.

Campaña Anual Católica 2015
La meta fijada por la Diócesis de Brooklyn para San Patricio
en la Campaña Anual Católica (ACA) 2015 es nuevamente de
$14,044. El Padre Powers pide a todos los feligreses en todas
las misas durante los próximos domingos para que se comprometan a dar al nivel de $250 ($25 cada mes por 10 meses.)
Una vez que se adquiera la meta, todo el dinero recibido
será devuelto a nuestra parroquia y será usado para la
reparación y renovación de nuestra amada pero envejeciente
iglesia. La parroquia recibió $1,283 de ACA 2014 después de
realizar nuestra meta de $14,044. Todos los feligreses
deberían contribuir a este importante fondo.
