Our Scholastic Book Fair is a reading event that brings the books kids want to read right into our school. It’s
a wonderful selection of engaging and affordable books for every reading level. Please make plans to visit
our Book Fair and be involved in shaping your child’s reading habits. !

This Fall Scholastic “Monster Book Fair” will be held October 5th through the 8th in the Multipurpose
Room. The Book Fair will be open on the following days:!

Please review with your child the Book Fair flier that we’ve sent home this week . Select the books you
would like to purchase. You may send money to school with your child (either cash or check made payable
to Frederick PTO). There is a 7% sales tax so please calculate that into your total. You can also visit
the Book Fair in the afternoon on Wednesday and Thursday. !

TEACHERS WISH LIST!
Contribute to your child’s classroom library through the Teacher Wish List display
board at the Fair. Teachers will fill out the slips with their favorite books for a
classroom. You may purchase these books at the Fair. After purchasing, your child
will get a bookplate to place in the book with his/her name on it. Then he/she can
take the book to the teacher.!

LOVE BOOKS? Volunteer to help at the Book Fair. You can help kids select books, work at the register or
help pack up. Anyone interested in volunteering or has additional questions or concerns contact us.
