He writes soft and harmonic arrangements avoiding quarter tones to create a new and modern sound with easily accessible melodies and rhythms, which facilitate and enhance movement of the body and expression in the dance. REMARKS ABOUT BELLYDA CE Bellydance is a very natural dance and evolved out of ritual dances and fertility dances. It impresses and enchants spectators through its earthiness and its grace. The effortless ease of body control of a bellydancer is fascinating and is enhanced by the personal expression of every dancer. She can be in communication with the music and her public either through wild, happy and exuberant hip and body movements, or with a snake-like and introverted and erotically soft wave-like dance. Bellydance has become more and more popular throughout the world. Women appreciate it, as dancing enhances physical well-being, certainty and a positive attitude towards the body, and gently tones the entire body. Thus bellydance is an adventure for dancer and spectator alike. Sula (Sula - Ursula Schopf, professional bellydancer, teacher and choreographer, leads her own dance studio "Manada" in Vienna, Austria. She is renowned for her scientific examination of "bellydance and self-acceptance and body-acceptance", and her expressive dance. 1. Here is a chance for dancers to prove their suppleness in a creative way. 2. Yalla oum rakkesni (lyrics) - Get up and make me dance! The rhythms of this piece are captivating and very well suited for a never-ending night in which music and dance keep us going until the break of dawn. YALLA OUM RAKKESNI Get up and make me dance! In God", name, don't annoy me! I fear, you might fall asleep again And dwell in the world of dreams And embarrass yourself and me. Come on, move a little And make me swing my shoulders and hips for you And tell you, "Your dance drives me crazy!" I listen to the music Which will not let us sleep for a minute. Come, get up and make me dance! Last time we ordered dessert for nothing, For you fell asleep and snored. We tried to wake you but you snored on. 3. Ma'zoufat al wouroud (instr.) - Music of roses Art and grace of the dancer are bewitching, like the fragrance of roses. 4. Samara (instr.) Where is she, to welcome us? We have come and brought lilies, Silver, pearls and blue sari. We have come to find out how she is, We have arrived. We want to tell her How much we.missed her. We were afraid that Zen a might forget us. Our separation was long, But we needed her from the beginning. But whatever we do or say, Apart from this beauty we have nobody. We were afraid that Zena might forget us. 6. Hizzi hazzi (percussion, instr.) - Dance, dance! A percussion solo. The dancer can improvise and show off her art. You have been away for long And we can't do anything about it. The world seems empty without you. There is no peace in our hearts. Don't forget us and what happened. We love each other, oh beautiful one. We miss the red cheeks, We miss the smile and the hair. Oh god, we miss your voice, Oh god, we miss your dance. By your life, don't forget us, We love each other, oh beautiful one. 9. Ishiriina (instr.) - Enchant us This is a very simple piece in clearly structured sections with interesting melodies. And I swear, I will never love anyone but you Never anyone but you. I promised you the most beautiful wedding dress. Promise me the greatest happiness! Don't forget me my love.
