WORK IN A VENTILATED AREA
Engine exhaust fumes can cause sickness
or death. If it is necessary to run an engine
in an enclosed area, remove the exhaust
fumes from the area with an exhaust pipe
extension. If you do not have an exhaust
pipe extension, do not use the pressure
washer in an enclosed area.

HANDLE FUEL SAFETY-AVOID
FIRES
Handle fuel with care: it is highly
flammable. Do not refuel the product
while smoking or when near open

Always stop engine before refueling
product. Fill fuel tank outdoors.
Prevent fires by keeping product
clean of accumulated trash, grease
and debris. Always clean up spilled
fuel.

DRAIN GASOLINE WHEN STORING YOUR PRODUCT
Gasoline stored in fuel tank can explode.
Never store your product with gasoline
in the tank inside a building where fumes
may reach an open flame or spark.
Always drain gasoline from fuel tank
and carburetor bowl when storing your
product. Allow engine to cool before
storing.

INSTALLATION
1 For better results install your pump as near as possible
to the water reservoir and with a minimum height from
the water level.

If your pump will be in a fixed place , secure it firmly to
the floor. If not, always be sure that the pump will not
move with the operating vibration.
Do not allow your engine to get wet. It should be
protected from rain and other environmental hazards
if installed outdoors.
DANGER
Provide adequate ventilation for toxic exhaust
gases and cooling air flow.
Do not start or run the generator in an enclosed area,
even if doors or windows are open.
Engine operation produces carbon monoxide and
odorless, colorless, poisonous gas.
Breathing carbon monoxide can cause nausea, fainting
or death.

PIPING CONNECTIONS
It is recommended that new piping is used on all
installations. Always use a product to seal connections,
avoid using fittings (elbows,valves,etc.) whenever
possible.

When using flexible hose with portable pumps, make
2 sure that the suction hose will not collapse. Hose
should withstand a vacuum of 30 mm of Hg without
deforming.
3 Suction piping should never be smaller in diameter
than the suction diameter of the pump.
4 Be careful not to over tighten the piping in order to
avoid excess strain in the pump body.
5 The discharge pipe should not be smaller in diameter
than the pump discharge. In order to maximize the
efficiency of the pump it is recommended that you
install piping one size bigger than the pump discharge.
BEFORE STARTING YOUR ENGINE
NEVER FILL FUEL TANK INDOORS, WHEN
ENGINE IS RUNNING OR HOT, DO NOT SMOKE
WHEN FILLING FUEL TANK.
USE ONLY CLEAN, FRESH,REGULAR GRADE
UNLEADED GASOLINE( IT SHOULD BE 87
OCTANE MINIMUM). DO NOT USE METANOL
IN ORDER TO PROVIDE SPACE FOR THE FUEL
EXPANSION .NEVER FILL THE FUEL TANK
COMPLETELY FILL TANK TO 1/2" BELOW
BOTTOM OF FILLER NECK.
WIPE ANY FUEL SPILLAGE FROM ENGINE AND
EQUIPMENT BEFORE STARTING THE ENGINE.

MAINTENANCE
BEFORE DOING ANY SERVICE WORK ON YOUR
ENGINE, STOP THE ENGINE AND REMOVE
SPARK PLUG WIRE.
CHECK ENGINE AND EQUIPMENT FREQUENTLY
FOR LOOSE NUTS, BOLTS AND ATTACHMENTS
AND KEEP THESE ITEMS TIGHTENED.
CHANGE OIL AFTER FIRST 2 HOURS OF
OPERATION AND EVERY 25 OPERATING HOURS
THEREAFTER (MORE OFTEN IF IT OPERATES IN
DIRTY OR DUSTY CONDITIONS).
CHECK THE OIL LEVEL FREQUENTLY DURING
THE ENGINE ADJUSTMENT PERIOD.
NEVER STORE ENGINE WITH FUEL INDOORS,
ENCLOSED OR POORLY VENTILATED AREAS,
WHERE FUEL VAPOUR MAY REACH AN OPEN
FLAME, SPARK OR PILOT LIGHT.

VACIE EL TANQUE DE GASOLINA CUANDO ALMACENE
SU
HIDROLAVADORA
La gasolina almacenada en el tanque
de combustible puede explotar.
Nunca almacene el producto con
la gasolina en el tanque dentro de
un edificio donde los gases pueden
alcanzar una llama o chispa.
Siempre drene la gasolina del tanque
de combustible y el recipiente del carburador al almacenar
su producto. Deje que el motor se enfríe antes de guardarla.

INSTALACION
CONEXIONES DE TUBERIA

Para mejores resultados, instale su motobomba lo más
cerca posible de la cisterna y a una altura mínima del espejo
del agua.

Si su motobomba va a tener un lugar fijo, sujétela firmemente
al piso (use anclas, taquetes expansivos, etc.). En caso
contrario, siempre asegúrese de que no se moverá con las
vibraciones.
Es conveniente utilizar tubería nueva, de preferencia
galvanizada, además de algún producto para sellar
conexiones (teflón, cemento poulan, etc.). Utilice el menor
número de codos posible.

Cuando utilice manguera de plástico flexible en bombas
portátiles, asegúrese de que la manguera de succión no se
chupe o aplaste. Utilice manguera tramada.

En la succión utilice siempre tubo de un diámetro mayor o
igual al del orificio de succión de la bomba, NUNCA MENOR.

Al conectar el primer tubo o niple en la succión y descarga
tenga cuidado de no introducirlo demasiado de forma que
llegue a dañar partes internas de la bomba (apretar a mano
y con herramienta 1½ vuelta más).

En la parte inferior del tubo de succión instale una válvula
de pie preferentemente de metal de un diámetro mayor al
de la succión.
Esto no es necesario en bombas autocebantes ya que
llevan un colador.
NUNCA PERMITA QUE SU MOTOR SE MOJE, COLOQUE
ALGUN MEDIO DE PROTECCION SI SE ENCUENTRA A
LA INTEMPERIE.
EVITE FORRAR EL MOTOR DE SU MOTOBOMBA CON
PLASTICOS QUE IMPIDAN LA CIRCULACION DEL AIRE
A TRAVES DE EL PARA SU ENFRIAMIENTO.
COLOQUE SU MOTOBOMBA EN UN LUGAR BIEN
VENTILADO.

Para máxima eficiencia en la descarga, utilice tubería de
por lo menos el mismo diámetro que el orificio de la bomba.

En bombas que no cuentan con orificio para cebado, se
puede crear uno con una conexión "Y" y una válvula o tapón
macho.
NO OPERE SU MOTOR SIN FILTRO DE AIRE. NO
LO TRABAJE EN LUGARES CERRADOS O POCO
VENTILADOS. EL MOTOR EMITE MONOXIDO DE
CARBONO, UN GAS INODORO Y LETAL.

En las bombas de la línea industrial, si es necesario, se puede
cambiar la dirección de la descarga.
MANTENGA MANOS, PIES, CABELLO Y ROPA LEJOS
DE LAS PARTES MOVILES DEL MOTOR Y DEL EQUIPO.
Esto se consigue quitando los tornillos que unen la tapa y
haciéndola girar, teniendo cuidado de no dañar el empaque,
de no barrer los tornillo o dejar la bomba mal sellada.
PRECAUCION: EL MOFLE Y SUS ALREDEDORES
ALCANZAN TEMPERATURAS ARRIBA DE LOS 65°C
(150°F) EVITE EL CONTACTO CON ESTAS AREAS.
NO OPERE EL MOTOR A VELOCIDAD EXCESIVA NI
AJUSTE EL ACELERADOR PARA ESTE PROPOSITO.
ANTES DE ENCENDER SU MOTOR
NUNCA LLENE EL TANQUE DE GASOLINA EN UN
LUGAR CERRADO O CON EL MOTOR TRABAJANDO
NI CUANDO ESTE CALIENTE.

SOLAMENTE USE GASOLINA PARA AUTO, NUEVA,
LIMPIA, DE GRADO REGULAR (87-90 OCTANOS). NO
USE GASOLINA QUE CONTENGA METANOL (ALCOHOL
DE MADERA). *EN MEXICO UTILICE SOLAMENTE
GASOLINA SIN PLOMO.
Coloque el ahogador (choke) en la posición máxima. La flecha apunta esa posición.
NOTA: Si está encendiendo un motor que ya esté caliente,
coloque el ahogador (choke) en la posición mínima.

NUNCA LLENE EL TANQUE DE GASOLINA HASTA EL
TOPE, DEJE 1 ó 2 cm PARA PERMITIR LA EXPANSION
DEL COMBUSTIBLE. ANTES DE ENCENDER SU MOTOR.
LIMPIE TODO EL COMBUSTIBLE DERRAMADO .
MOTOR CON RETRACTIL: Tome la manija de arranque
y jale despacio hasta sentirla más tensa, permita que la
cuerda se rebobine pausadamente; entonces tire de la
cuerda con un movimiento rápido y uniforme dejando que
la cuerda regrese nuevamente.

MOTOR CON POLEA DE ARRANQUE: Embobine
la cuerda en la polea de arranque y jale rápida y
uniformemente.

Trate de mantener su motobomba en posición horizontal,
no inclinada para evitar problemas de lubricación y que su
motor se desviele.

Ponga el aceite hasta el nivel máximo indicado en la
bayoneta (Aceite SAE 30). Llene el tanque de gasolina hasta
el nivel máximo permitido. NUNCA MEZCLE EL ACEITE
CON LA GASOLINA en motores de 4 tiempos.
Repita la instrucción 2 hasta que el motor arranque. Una vez
encendido, mueva el ahogador a la posición media hasta
que el motor funcione uniformemente; después vuelva a
la posición mínima.

Cebe (llene de agua) su bomba y verifique que no haya
entradas de aire ni fugas en la tubería ni en la válvula de
pie. Espere unos minutos y cerciórese que el nivel no haya
bajado.
NOTA: en bombas autocebantes tarde de 5 a 10 min.
aproximandamente en sacar el agua.

Verifique que el cable de la bujía esté conectado y que esté
abierta la válvula de gasolina. Asegúrese que el agujero
de ventilación del tapón de gasolina no esté obstruido.

MANTENIMIENTO
ANTES DE HACER CUALQUIER ARREGLO AL MOTOR,
DETENGALO Y DESCONECTE EL CABLE DE LA BUJIA.
VERIFIQUE FRECUENTEMENTE QUE EL MOTOR Y
EL EQUIPO NO TENGAN TORNILLOS, TUERCAS O
ADITAMENTOS FLOJOS; MANTENGALOS APRETADOS.

NUNCA GUARDE EL MOTOR CON GASOLINA EN
LUGARES CERRADOS, POCO VENTILADOS O DONDE
LOS VAPORES DE GASOLINA PUEDAN ALCANZAR
UNA FLAMA.

ALMACENAMIENTO
1
Cuando no vaya a utilizar su bomba, vacíe el agua que
contenga y deje funcionar el motor hasta que se termine
la gasolina del carburador. Cambie el aceite si no ha sido
cambiado en los tres últimos meses.
CUANDO EL MOTOR ESTE FRIO, VACIE LA GASOLINA
A UN RECIPIENTE APROPIADO, EN UN LUGAR
VENTILADO, LEJOS DE CUALQUIER FLAMA.

Para identificar el lugar de las fugas de agua, seque su
motobomba y la tubería, y llénela de agua nuevamente.

Si usted encontrara alguna falla, aún fuera del período de
Garantía o necesita reparar el producto, le recordamos
que contamos con refacciones originales y mano de obra
calificada en nuestros departamento de servicio o en
talleres de servicio autorizados.
