The Administrator Credential is a six course, 18-credit sequence, featuring the following six courses: Earn your Child Care CREDENTIALS • Best Practices for Children and Families #5 Online course dates: Mon, July 6–Fri, Sept 11, 2015 As a working mother of three young children, former child care teacher, and center director, I know it is hard to find the time to continue your education. This is why we have designed our programs online, with your schedule in mind. You can do this. You can go back to school, gain college credits, and move forward in your career. I am here to help you with the technology and registration process. We also have many wonderful instructors who have also worked in the child care and education field for many years and they will work with you as you complete your courses. While our campus is located in Wisconsin, we have students and instructors from many different states and the online classroom allows us to exchange ideas across borders. You will never have to come to Platteville to attend class. To register online, just click on the course title that you would like to register for and fill out the online form. 3. Apply for your scholarship at www.ecetp.pdp.albany.edu. Look for the contact information under the Educational Incentive Program. 4. UW-Platteville Office of Continuing Education | 608.342.1314 | 888.281.9472 | [email protected] Afterschool and Youth Development Credential Infant-Toddler Care and Education Credential Take a step forward in your career with the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Earn Your Child Care Credential or Degree The Afterschool and Youth Development Credential is a four course, 12-credit sequence that is designed for any individual working in an out-of-school-time program for children ages 5 through 12. Caring for and enriching the lives of school age children beyond the school day requires a unique set of skills that combines and crosses many professional disciplines and is grounded in an understanding of the growth and development of children. This credential features the following four courses: The Infant Toddler Credential will best benefit those who work with children under the age of 3. Two of the four Infant Toddler Credential courses in the 12-credit sequence are also within the Curriculum for the Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education. The Infant-Toddler Credential features the following four courses: Step 1 –Earn your New York State Child Care Credential. The New York State Association for the Education of Young Children administers the credential programs. We will help you earn college credits, and help you prepare your portfolio to send to the New York State Association for the Education of Young Children’s (NYSAEYC) to earn your credential.
