Italian Jubilee Mercy Now A Free Resource for all in the Parish The Jubilee Year of Mercy is now in full swing! What better way to form people to embrace God’s way of mercy by reflecting on and living as people of mercy? This is why a “Mercy Now” resource has been established for all in the parish. You can access the first edition of Mercy Now at: http://www.catholiclifeandfaith.net/mercy-now/ January - The Giving and Receiving of Mercy February – Lent, Deepening in Christ’s Merciful Way March – Mercy in the Lenten Gospels Some interest has been expressed for a Tour of Rome during this Jubilee Year of Mercy. After pricing some tours, we wanted to see if we could get 40 interested people before making a deposit to secure the time slot for a St. Sylvester Group. A tour we have been looking at involves attractions that aren't normally included on a pilgrimage to Italy. This tour is of Rome and surrounding areas, which allows the group to stay at the same hotel, 2 blocks from the Vatican, throughout the entire trip. Some of the attractions are as follows: • • • Counseling Services at Catholic Charities Catholic Charities is pleased to announce the staff addition of a new mental health counselor, Shari Adams. Mental health counseling services are now available to individuals, couples, and families by a masters level licensed therapist. Appointments may be made by calling the Catholic Charities offices at 244-2825. Catholic Charities offers a generous sliding scale fee and is happy to help all on their journey to healing. Thanks and God Bless!! Each week we highlight one of our bulletin sponsors. Because of these ads we are able to get our bulletins FREE. Please support these businesses. Our “sponsor of the week” is: Support our Sponsors!! • • • • • • • • • • Serraglio degli Ebrei - Oldest quarters of Rome Private tour of the Sistine Chapel Private tours of Raphael Rooms, the Sala Di Chiaroscuro & the secret Nicolina Chapel inside the walls of the Vatican (all areas off the normal tourist route) Papal Gardens (stroll through the private park) St. Peter’s Basilica Castelli Romani (old fortified villages) Castel Gandolfo (Pope’s summer residence) Frascati (quaint Roman town) Audience with Pope Francis Free day for optional excursions All Breakfasts included (2) Group Dinners 2 Group Lunches The approximate price, based on 40 passengers, would be $3,900 from October 15th - 23rd, 2016.
