ABUNDANT LIFE
VIDA EN ABUNDANCIA
“I came that they might have life, and have
it more abundantly” (John 10:10).
“Vine para que tengan vida, y la tengan en
abundancia” (Juan 10:10)
These words describe Jesus himself – he is
the Good Shepherd who does not “steal or
slaughter or destroy,” but rather lays down
his life so we, the sheep of his flock, might
enjoy a life full of grace.
Estas palabras, describen al mismo Jesús – él
es El Buen Pastor quien no “roba, maltrata o
destruye,” sino que entrega su vida para que
nosotros, las ovejas de su rebaño podamos
gozar una vida llena de gracia..
During May we honor our Blessed Mother,
who was conceived without sin, and who
herself conceived by the power of the
Holy Spirit, so we might have Life – Jesus
himself, the Way, the Truth and the Life.
Durante el mes de Mayo honramos a nuestra
Santa Madre, sin pecado concebida, y quien
ha concebido por el poder del Espíritu Santo,
para que podamos tener Vida – Jesús mismo,
el Camino, la Verdad y la Vida.
And on Mother’s Day, we thank God for
our own mothers, who came into this world
so we might have life, a life enriched by
their care, concern, affection and love.
Finalmente, en el Día de las Madres, damos
gracias a Dios por nuestras madres, quienes
vinieron a este mundo para que podamos tener
vida, una vida enriquecida por su cuidado,
bondad, afecto y amor.
The abundance of life God desires for
us is found in our relationships with our
mothers, our Blessed Mother and with
our Lord Jesus himself. May we always
be thankful for the gift of life we enjoy in
abundance – a gift given by our generous
and gracious and loving God!

EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS OF
HOLY COMMUNION
BAUTISMOS
Normalmente los bautismo los tenemos los primeros
sábados de cada mes a las 10:30am. Todos deben asistir a
una charla de preparación, que regularmente la tenemos
los terceros sábados de cada mes a las 10:00am. Llenan
la forma con la información del niño, la familia y los
padrinos. Además deben de traer la partida de nacimiento
del niño o la niña.
Los niños mayores de 7 años hasta los que están en
grado 6 se bautizan con los niños pequeños, pero tienen
que matricularse en las clases de educación religiosa o
en el “Programa Jordan” para prepararse para su Primera
Comunión.
Los que pasan a 7º grado tienen que prepararse en el
programa RICA de jóvenes, de septiembre de este año a
abril del próximo año. Ellos recibirán en la Vigilia Pascual
los tres sacramentos de iniciación: Bautismo, Primera
Comunión y Confirmación. Los Adultos siguen el mismo
sistema que el de los jóvenes de 7º grado, pero en el
programa RICA de Adultos, para lo cual tienen que tener
18 años de edad en adelante.
