CATHOLIC COMMUNICATIONS CAMPAIGN
Next weekend our par ish will take up the Catholic Communications Campaign. This collection communicates
the Gospel through Catholic social media activities and enriches our faith through podcasts, television, radio and print
media. Half of all proceeds remain in our (arch) diocese and
support local needs. Please be generous in this collection.
CAPITAL CAMPAIGN
On Sunday, May 3rd, the Diocese of Brooklyn, together with the
Catholic Foundation for Brooklyn and Queens, officially announced the launch of Generations of Faith, a comprehensive
fundraising initiative to meet the spiritual and material needs of
the diocese.
Generations of Faith, named after the numerous generations of
Catholics raised and living in the many tight knit neighborhoods
in Brooklyn and Queens, will focus on three main goals: to
strengthen the parishes of Brooklyn and Queens (50%), serve
and care for seniors priests (37.5%), and foster the formation of
the Catholic faith for future generations (12.5%).
PILGRIMAGE TO HOLY LAND
Under the direction of Fr. Carlos and
Mother Maria, both as companions, all
members of our parish are invited to participate in 10 days of intense prayer and
walk in the footsteps of Jesus. Let’s discover these sacred sites and share a
unique experience.

NUESTROS SANTOS
CATHOLIC EDUCATION
All Catholic Schools and Academies in the Diocese have aligned
with particular parishes. Bishop Di Marzio and the Superintendent
of Catholic Schools have aligned our parish, Blessed Sacrament,
with Our Lady of Sorrows. We will partner with Our Lady of Sorrows Parish in the management, promotion and development of that
Catholic Academy. Father Carlos R. Quijano, SJ with Msgr. Healy
and the new Pastor of Our Lady of Sorrows, Father Raymond Roden
will be part of the Members Board which will serve ensuring the
vitality and the presence of a Catholic School in our neighborhood.
With their efforts and participation, we can preserve the option to
providing a Catholic Education focused on our shared faith,
knowledge, discipline and morality. All this, seeking the greater
glory of God. Father Carlos and Msgr. Healy ask for your prayers in
this new endeavor.

El Obispo Di Marzio y la Superintendencia de las Academias Católicas han decidido que nuestra parroquia del Santísimo Sacramento
esté asociada en la administración, promoción y desarrollo junto con
la parroquia de Nuestra Señora de los Dolores de la Academia Católica que funciona en esta última Comunidad. Padre Carlos R. Quijano, SJ junto con Mons. Healy y el nuevo Párroco de Nuestra Sra.
De los Dolores-Padre Raymond Roden, formarán parte de la junta
de directores y ejercerán sus funciones buscando asegurar la vitalidad y la presencia de una Escuela Católica en nuestro barrio. Con
sus esfuerzos y su participación podremos mantener esta opción de
ofrecer una educación Católica centrada sobre nuestra Fe compartida, el Conocimiento, la disciplina y la moralidad y todo buscando la

SEGUNDA COLECTA
Este fin de semana, la Segunda Colecta es par a el
“Mantenimiento & Restauración del Templo”. Agradecemos
su generosidad y ayuda.
La próxima semana nuestra parroquia realizara la Colecta para
la Campaña Católica de la Comunicación. Esta colecta comunica el Evangelio a través de actividades en el los medios sociales
católicos y enriquece nuestra fe a través de los podcasts, la televisión, lar radio y la prensa escrita. La mitad de los recaudado
permanece en nuestra (aquí) diócesis y financia las necesidades
locales. Contribuya generosamente a esta colecta.
CAMPAÑA DE FINANCIAMIENTO
El Domingo 3 de Mayo, la Diócesis de Brooklyn junto con la
Fundación Católica de Brooklyn y Queens, anuncio oficialmente el lanzamiento de Generaciones de Fe, una iniciativa integral
de recaudación de fondos para satisfacer las necesidades espirituales y materiales de la diócesis.
Generaciones de Fe, toma el nombre debido a las numerosas
generaciones de católicos muy unidos criados y que están viviendo en los muchos barrios de Brooklyn y Queens, se centrara en tres objetivos principales: fortalecer las parroquias de
Brooklyn y Queens (50%), servir y cuidar de os sacerdotes ancianos (37.5%), y fomentar la formación de la fe católica para
las generaciones futuras (12.5%).

Agradecemos el compromiso de nuestros feligreses que han
