Happy Father’s Day
I would like to wish all Fathers a very Happy and
Blessed Father’s Day. May the Holy Spirit continue
to help you guide your children on the right path. As
St. Joseph, fathers are the caretakers of their families,
and we would like to specially thank you for your love
and dedication you have for the wellbeing of your family. To
fathers who have preceded us in death, may the Lord in His
mercy welcome them to their eternal reward and grant them
rest and eternal peace.

Ahora hemos comenzado de Nuevo la temporada litúrgica en
la cual el color verde es el color litúrgico. El color verde es un
recordatorio de esperanza, vida y anticipación para nosotros.
Tiempo Ordinario, es una temporada en enfocarnos en los tres
años del ministerio público de Jesús, sus enseñanzas y sus milagros. Sirve también como recordatorio que la misión de la iglesia
es de compartir la esperanza y vida de Cristo con el mundo y

Me gustaría darle una grande bienvenida a
Henry Cuellar, un seminarista de la Diócesis de
Austin, que va a estar en residencia con nosotros
mientras completa su Educación Pastoral Clínico
(CPE por sus siglas en inglés) con el Sistema
de Cuidado Médico de Seton aquí en Austin.

También me gustaría darle una gran bienvenida a Sean Dewitt
otro seminarista de la Diócesis de Austin y estará con nosotros
este verano. Sean actualmente está terminando
sus estudios en Roma, Italia y estará con nosotros
al fin de junio. Sean, junto con otros cinco, serán
ordenados al Orden de Diacono el 11 de Julio
del 2015 a las 10:30 a.m. en la parroquia de San
Vicente de Paul por el Reverendísimo Daniel

Lumen Gentium Award
The Lumen Gentium Award was canceled on Tuesday due to
all of the unknown factors with Tropical Storm Bill and the
possible effects upon people living throughout
the Diocese of Austin. The Diocese has yet
to make a determination on rescheduling the
event. Let us keep in prayer all who may have
been affected by this tropical storm.

Clerical Endowment Fund (C. E. F.)
Prayer Cards:
Cards are available in the Parish Office for
a donation of $2.00 or $5.00. Perpetual
Certificates are also available. These enrollments make excellent gifts for many
occasions. Proceeds from these donations
are used to educate Seminarians for the
Diocese. The Fund is also used to make
low interest loans to parishes for their
building programs. This has been a project of the Austin Diocesan Council of
Catholic Women since 1948.

Servus Dei
Servus Dei is a three-day social justice adventure for young adolescents
between sixth and eighth grades. The service involvement takes place at
local agencies and centers that assist people in need. The retreat will take
place June 18-20 and the cost $85. On-time registration must be submitted
by June 1st to the Religious Education Office.

Infertility & Miscarriage Support: Sarah’s
Hope & Abraham’s Promise is a spiritual
support program for couples struggling with
infertility and miscarriage. Based on Catholic
teaching, we combine the wisdom of modern medicine with the healing power of the Catholic Church. We offer a
women’s Bible study support group, couples healing retreats and prayer
services throughout the year.
Adoption Support: Destined: Families Built by Love is a spiritual support
program and monthly playgroup for adoptive families. Anyone who has
built their family through the miracle of adoption is invited to meet with
other families to share the joys and challenges of adoption and fostering.
The playgroup meets once a month in different areas of Austin.
