El calzado con proteccion contra cortes provocados por sierras de cadena accionadas a mano solo es aplicable al calzado de seguridad pero no al calzado de
protección o de trabajo. El calzado ha de cumplir los requisitos básicos según EN
ISO 20345, además de otros requisitos básicos de este tipo de calzado según
EN ISO 17249:2004:
- Este calzado solo admite diseños tipo C, D o E.
- La altura mínima en la zona de protección para un diseño tipo C (bota de
media caña) es de 188 mm.
- La protección debe comprender pala, lengüeta y puntera de calzado.
- No debe haber huecos entre el tope y el material de protección.
- El material de protección debe de estar unido al calzado.
Ningún equipo de protección personal puede asegurar una protección del 100
% frente al corte por sierra de cadena. Sin embargo la experiencia ha demostrado que es posible diseñar equipos que ofrezcan un cierto grado de protección
aplicando diferentes principios:
- Deslizamiento de la cadena al contacto.
- Entrapamiento, las fibras van hacia el piñón de arrastre para bloquear el movimiento de la cadena.
- Frenado de la cadena.
Se recomienda seleccionar el calzado acorde a la velocidad de la motosierra.
CHAIN SAW
Footwear protecting against cuts caused by chain saws hand operated only applies
to safety footwear. It does not apply to protective and/or occupational footwear.
It must meet the basic requirements according to the standards EN ISO 20345
and EN ISO 17249:2004:
- Only admitted for designs type C, D or E.
- Minimum height on the protection area for type C design: 188 mm
- The protection must include the vamp, tongue and toe cap areas
- No gaps are allowed between the toe cap protection and the protective material
- The protection material must be attached to the footwear
No personal protective equipment can ensure 100% protection against chain saw
cutting. However, experience has demonstrated that it is possible to design equipment that provides a certain degree of protection applying different principles:
- Chain slippage to contact
- Entrapment; fibers go to the drive sprocket to block the chain movement.
- Chain braking
It is strongly recommended to select the footwear according to the chain saw
speed.
There are three protection levels corresponding to the speed levels of the power saw:

NORMATIVA APLICABLE
Este EPI de categoría III está compuesto por
unos materiales con unas cualidades que lo
hacen muy resistentes al paso del tiempo si es
conservado adecuadamente.
Se recomienda transportar el EPI categoría III
en una bolsa o caja individual. Este EPI categoría
III ha sido diseñado según la Directiva 89/686/
CE. El examen de tipo EPI categoría III ha sido
elaborado. Los rendimientos alcanzados en los
ensayos técnicos son plenamente satisfactorios en base a la norma EN 15090:2006 / EN
15090:2012. Estos rendimientos están avalados
por el correspondiente certificado emitido por
CIMAC, cuyo número de identificación es el
0161.

PARA BOMBEROS

El marcado de la bota se realiza conforme a la norma EN 15090:2006 / EN 15090:2012, e incluye
un pictograma en el corte, lado externo, con la
silueta de un bombero apagando llamas con una
manguera, en color negro sobre fondo amarillo, con
un tamaño no inferior a 30 mm x 30 mm, y con
uno de los códigos de designación correspondientes
descritos en la norma, entre los que señalamos:
EUROPEAN LEGISLATION
This Category III PPE is composed of high quality
materials that make it resistant to aging when
properly maintained.
It is recommended to transport the Category III
PPE in an individual plastic bag or cardboard
box. This Category III PPE has been designed
according to the Directive 89/686/CE. Its correspondent type of examination has been made and
the results thrown by the technical tests are fully
satisfactory fulfilling the standard EN 15090:2006
/ EN 15090:2012. These results are guaranteed
by the relevant CE certificate issued by CIMAC,
whose identification number is 0161.

The marking of the footwear is made according
to the Standard EN 15090:2006 / EN 15090:2012
and includes a pictogram on the external side of
the upper showing a fire fighter silhouette extinguishing a fire with a fire hose. The pictogram is in
black on a yellow background with a size not less
than 30 mm x 30 mm and one of the designation
codes described on the standard, such as:
F1 Calzado Tipo 1, para extinción de incendios y operaciones de rescate en general,
