In the month of March 2016 a total of 2,912 people were
served. This included 1274 children, 1350 adults and 288 seniors. You may come in Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays at
11:00am.
SUPPORT OUR PARISH FOOD PANTRY WITH
OUR ROSARY SOCIETY:
In a cooperative venture between the parish Rosary Society and
our Parish Food Pantry at St Margaret Mary, we have instituted
a monthly food collection on the First Sunday of the month at
all Masses. Please bring only dried or canned foods (nonperishables). Please no food beyond expirations dates. Thank
you for your help in carrying out the Corporal Works of Mercy
in this era of need. All women of the parish are welcome to join
them in their prayer, good works, and conviviality. Next Pantry
is Sunday, June 5, 2016.

Dear Friends,
We are happy to welcome the Franciscan Sisters of the Renewal to speak at the Annual Communion-Brunch of the Rosary Society, Anniversary Year
Edition, at Riccardo’s. This dynamic young religious
order of women reminds us the even in our secular
culture the call of religious vocation can be heard and
heeded. This weekend’s food collection will also be
taken up for the Sisters’ Food Pantry in Harlem.
Please do not bring food for beyond the expiration
date.
The month of May traditionally is dedicated to the
Blessed Mother. We have daily recitation of the Rosary every day after our daily Masses. Please join
them or pray the Rosary at home, if possible with
your family. We also invite you to our monthly First
Saturday Devotion, this month on Saturday, May 7
after the 8 AM Mass with music and fellowship after
Mass.
The photo montage of Father Joe’s retirement Mass
and reception is now posted on the parish YouTube
channel. Tune in and see the fitting tribute to this
dedicated priest and this well-done tribute by our
media team. Finally I ask you to remember in your
prayers both the victims of the earthquakes in Ecuador, where a large number of our parishioners are
from, and in Japan. We also ask your prayers for the
repose of the soul of Mr. Tu Vu, the president of the
Vietnamese Community in our parish and a good
Catholic gentleman. May he rest in the peace of
Christ.

Estamos encantados de dar la bienvenida a las
Hermanas Franciscanas de la Renovación para hablar en
anual la Almuerzo-comunión de la Sociedad del Rosario
del Aniversario, en Riccardo de. Esta orden religiosa joven y dinámico de las mujeres nos recuerda que en
nuestra cultura secular la llamada de la vocación religiosa puede ser escuchada y atendida. La colección de alimentos de este fin de semana también se tendrá para la
despensa de alimentos de las hermanas en Harlem. Por
favor, no llevar comida para después de la fecha de caducidad.
El mes de mayo, tradicionalmente se dedica a la Virgen.
Tenemos rezo diario del Rosario todos los días después
de las Misas diarias. Por favor unirse a ellos o rezar el
Rosario en casa, si es posible con su familia. También le
invitamos a nuestra dedicación mensual primer sábado
de este mes el sábado 7 de mayo, después de la misa de
8 a.m. con la música y la comunión después de la misa.

El grupo del ministerio de consolación, invita a toda la

Este Ministerio brinda apoyo y provee esperanza personal al afligido, mientras trata de lidiar con la pérdida de un

grupo es dirigido por 2 facilitadores que son Netzahi Victoria y Etelberto García. Siguiendo la dinámica del grupo

ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT

Spiritual writers speak of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament as the “Mass held in contemplation”. As a way of encouraging devotion to the Eucharist, we invite everyone to

This weekend the Little Christians of Bethlehem will
be presenting their lovely olive wood religious art
objects for the support of the persecuted Christians
in Bethlehem.
SHRINE OF THE DIVINE MERCY– MASSACHUSSETTS
June 18, 2016- $55.00 per person.
The Shrine of the Divine Mercy offers opportunities for
inspiration and devotion. Stroll through beautiful
grounds offering devotional opportunities for silent prayer and contemplation. Busses will be leaving at 7am from
Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Pilgrims should pack snacks/
drink for the day. A boxed lunch will be provided. The
trip will proceed rain or shine. Pilgrims are reminded to

ANNUAL CATHOLIC APPEAL–
CAMPAÑA CATOLICA ANUAL
We thank all those who have made a pledge to this
year’s Annual Catholic Appeal. As of April 25th, 2016, we
have 185 Donors who have pledged $41,373 towards our
parish goal of $59,118. Over $8,000 has been collected
thus far. Pledge envelopes are still available at the
church doors and in the rectory. Please remember we
need many new people to pledge this year if we are going to make our goal. No pledge is too small and everyone can help our campaign succeed.
