DROUGHT UPDATE: Drought Penalties Reduced
Indio Water Authority’s (IWA) drought penalties have been reduced! Customers now
receive 100% of their water budget (Tiers 1&2 combined), therefore penalties no
longer impact Tier 2. Drought penalties will only apply to those exceeding their
water budgets through Tiers 3, 4 and 5.
IWA’s water use restrictions are still in place. As part of our commitment to
conservation during this continued drought, customers MUST water AFTER 6pm and
BEFORE 6am, however you may do so seven days a week.

ACTUALIZACIÓN DE SEQUÍA: Reducción de Penalizaciones de Sequía
Las penalizaciones de sequía de Indio Water Authority (IWA) han sido reducidas! Ahora,
los clientes reciben el 100% de su presupuesto de agua (Niveles 1 y 2 combinados), por
lo tanto, las penalizaciones ya no impactaran Nivel 2. Las penalizaciones de sequía sólo
se aplicarán a aquellos clientes excesivos en los Niveles 3, 4 y 5.
Las restricciones del uso de agua de IWA todavía están en lugar. Como parte de nuestro
compromiso con la conservación durante esta sequía continua, los clientes DEBEN
regar DESPUÉS de las 6pm y ANTES de las 6am, sin embargo usted puede hacerlo
siete días a la semana.
