START OF THE OIG IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
On October 10 th, all students of Elementary School gathered in the courtyard
to formally begin the commitment with their houses. The houses are;
Astronomers, researchers, inventors, explorers and scientists.
CLAN SECTION
During the week from 3 to 7 of October, students participated in challenged
skills and the students selection took place for a secret event.
This event involved the members of the four clans, with the intention of
accumulating as many points as possible.
PRESENTATION OF THE SOCIETY OF STUDENTS OF LICEO DEL VALLE
On October 3, it was made official the presentation of the new Society of Students
of Liceo del Valle (SSLV), which carries out student duties during school year 2016-2017.
Our General Director witnessed when they took the oath as new members of SSLV.
All three sections : Elementary, Middle, and High School were assembled to meet
the new members of the student society. Also the official presentation of clans
(initiation ceremony) Dragon Clans Rite of Passage was conducted
EXAMS
October 8th , eighth graders took the Preliminary English Test (PET)
Cambridge exam, which certifies the student 's ability to use their language
skills in English for work, study, and travel.
FIRST FRIDAY MASS
On the 7th of October during the morning various services for mass
were held, where each student of Liceo del Valle attended with his section.
Mass is held on the first Friday of each month.
DEBATE TEAM
Students will discuss the Thesis “Los procesos de admisión de las universidades
publicas violenta el derecho a la educación” playing the role against it.
The other team was Instituto Hermosa Provincia . The final score was 134-105
in our favor. They told us that we are the only team that has defeated them.
Graciano was elected the best contenstant.
CASE COMPETION UP
High School students participated in th Case Competition organized
by Universidad Panamericana Campus Guadalajara.
FIP COURSES FOR 11TH AND 12TH
Parents from 11th and 12th grade participated in the FIP courses on September
22nd and 29th and October 6th where talks such as “Conductas de Riesgo”,
“Personalidad y Madurez, las 8 coordenadas de la persona emocionalmente
madura.” And “Vida y universitaria, mi hijo ¿cumple o se realiza?
Were presented.
HALCONES TEAMS
High School students were divided in 4 teams: Blue Hawks, Red Hawks,
Green Hawks, and Golden Hawks.
UNIVERSITY VISITIS
Informative talks were given to 12th grade students by different universities
such as UP Guadalajara, ITAM and Lethridge From Canada.
SOCIAL WORK
Different Social work associations visited High School students.
TAKE PROTEST
After an intense electoral process, SALV representative students were elected.
They took protest before all of the school members .
