ANTES DE USAR POR PRIMERA VEZ
Lave la olla interior y la tapa en agua tibia jabonosa, enjuáguelas bien
y séquelas.
GENERAL
El émbolo evitará que la resistencia funcione a menos que la olla
interior esté en su sitio. Si enciende la olla a presión de forma
accidental, extraiga la olla interior y colóquela de nuevo para
restablecer el control, o mueva el control hasta su posición de reposo.
PREPARACIÓN
1. Coloque la olla a presión sobre una superficie firme, nivelada y
resistente al calor, cerca de una toma de corriente, y fuera del
alcance de los niños.
2. Dado que sale vapor, no utilice la olla cerca o debajo de cortinas,
estantes, armarios, o cualquier otra que pueda sufrir daños por el
vapor.
3. Utilice guantes de cocina y un plato o mantel resistente al calor

COCINAR ARROZ
1 Se recomienda lavar el arroz en agua fría y dejarlo escurrir. Esto

4. Cuando sea necesario, limpie el exterior de la olla arrocera con

INTRODUCTION
Read these instructions before use and keep them safe. If you pass the
rice cooker on, pass on the instructions too. Remove all packaging, but
keep it till you’re satisfied the cooker.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precaution should be
followed, including the following:
1. Don’t put the cooker body in water or any other liquid, don’t use the
cooker in a bathroom or near any source of water, and don’t use it
outdoors.
2. This appliance should be used only by or under the supervision of
a responsible adult.
3. Cook only in the removable inner pot.
4. Don’t fill the inner pot above the bottom of the mark. If you do, it
may spit boiling water.
5. Don’t touch the hot surfaces of the cooker, lid, or inner pot.
6. Use oven gloves when handling the lid, or inner pot.
7. Steam escapes from the vent and rim, so don’t reach over the
cooker.
8. Keep away from steam when lifting the lid or inner pot.
9. Remove the inner pot to serve. Don’t try to move the cooker. It is
heavy, and the mains lead will probably catch on something as you
move. At best, you’ll tip the rice over the floor, at worst, you might
scald yourself.
10. Position the cooker on a firm, level, heat resistant surface, close to
power socket, and out of reach of children.
11. Route the main lead so that it doesn’t overhang, and can’t be
tripped over or caught accidentally.
12. Don’t use the cooker near or below curtains, shelves, cupboards,
or anything else likely to be damaged by the steam.
13. Don’t cover the cooker or put anything on top of it during use.
14. Keep the cooker and main lead away from hotplates, hobs and
burners.
15. Unplug the cooker when not in use, before moving and before
cleaning. Let it cool down fully before cleaning and storing away.
16. Don’t use accessories or attachments other than those we supply.
17. Don’t use the cooker for any purpose other than those described in
these instructions.
18. Don’t operate the cooker if it’s damaged or malfunctions. If the
mains lead or plug is damaged, the cooker must be returned in
order to avoid hazard.
19. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
GENERAL
The plunger will prevent the element working unless the inner pot is in
place. If you switch the cooker on accidentally, lift the inner pot off the
element and set it down again to reset the control, or move the control
up to its rest position.
PREPARATION
1. Site the cooker on a firm, level, heat-resistant surface, close to a
power socket, and out of reach of children.
2. Steam will escape, so don’t put it near curtains, under shelves or
cupboards, or near anything that might be damaged by the
escaping steam.
3. Have oven gloves, and a heat resistant mat or dinner plate to put
the inner pot on after cooking.
4. Put the inner pot inside the cooker.
COOKING RICE
1 We recommend washing rice in cold water and letting it drain. This
will remove excess starch and any loose bran. It also makes the
cooked rice less sticky.
2. Fill the inner pot with the amount of rice required.
3. Add the required amount of water - generally, use 1 cup of water
for each cup of rice.
4. Don’t fill past the mark inside the inner pot.
5. Put the lid on the inner pot.
6. Plug the cooker in (switch the socket on, if switch able).
7. Press the control down - it’ll lock in the down position, and the
COOK light will come on.
8. When the rice is cooked, the control will pop up to its original
position, the COOK light will go out.
9. Wait for 10 to 15 minutes, then unplug the cooker.
10. Put on the oven gloves.
11. Steam will come out when you lift the lid. Tilt it slightly to direct the
steam away from you.
12. Lift out the inner pot and set it down on a heat-resistant mat or
dinner plate.
13. Use the rice paddle to mix the rice, to let all the steam escape
ADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS
If you add any additional ingredients (raisins, fruits, nuts, etc.), please
reduce the amount of rice. As raisins and dried fruits will soak up as
much water as rice, put them into the measuring cup along with the
rice. Nuts won’t generally take up much water, so you can normally add
them after you’re measured the rice.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. The appliance should be cleaned after each & every use.
2. Before cleaning your Rice Cooker always unplug & allow it to cool
down completely.
3. Remove the cooking pot and glass lid from the Rice cooker and
wash in hot soapy water. Rinse completely then dry it with a soft
clean cloth.
NOTE: DO NOT IMMERSE THE BASE UNIT INTO WATER OR
ANY OTHER LIQUID AND DO NOT SPRAY WATER ON TO IT.
4. Clean the outside of your Rice cooker when necessary with a clean
damp cloth or with a mild dish detergent. Never use abrasive
cleaners, metal tools or steel wool on the outside body or on the
inner cooking pot, as they may cause the damage to the Rice
cooker.

5. To clean the heating plate and the thermo control plate, Use steel
wool to polish or remove any residue. Then wipe with a damp
cloth. Allow drying completely before re-using.
You must keep the heating plate and thermo-control plate free from
any foreign objects, Otherwise the cooker will not operate properly.
6. Any residue of vinegar or salt may cause your inner pot to corrode.
Always clean properly and completely after each use.
7. The appliance has no user serviceable parts; do not attempt to
repair this yourself. Any servicing or repairing must be performed
by authorized service representative/dealer.
CAUTION
BEFORE STARTING TO COOK, CLEAN THE BOTTOM OF THE
INNER POT AND THE SURFACE OF THE HEATER PLATE, THEN
TURN THE INNER POT CLOCKWISE AND ANTI - CLOCKWISE SO
THAT IT SITS PROPERLY ONTO THE HEATER PLATE INSIDE THE
RICE COOKER. OTHERWISE, THE RICE COOKER WILL NOT
WORK OR WILL BE DAMAGED.
