OUR EDUC ATION MODEL
To educate someone means to help
them develop their skills and abilities in a
harmonious and balanced manner; this is
what we call integral formation. It involves
the cultivation of intelligence, willpower,
sensitivity and transcendence. This School’s
education model encompasses four areas:

To educate
To educate means to steer, guide and
accompany the child or adolescent through
the most important task they have in life:
to maximise the skills and talents they
have been given as a human being, to
be themselves and to attain complete
happiness. According to the beliefs of
Christian Humanism, the purpose of
schooling is to fully develop the personality
of each pupil.

Personalised Attention
Personalised education considers each
person as an individual soul. At our school,
the teachers work with the differences that
define each pupil: their psychology, their
qualities, their limitations, their previous
education, their family and social environment
and their personal history. We hold individual
and group tutoring sessions with the pupils,
tutoring sessions with the family, dedicate
time to resolving issues, provide revision
and catch-up classes, and teach study
techniques. None of this is undertaken
without collaborating with the family and the
Psychopedagogy Department.

Atención personalizada
La educación personalizada tiene en cuenta
a cada persona en su singularidad. En nuestro
colegio, el docente trabaja con las diferencias
que definen a cada alumno: su psicología, sus
cualidades, sus limitaciones, su formación previa,
su ambiente familiar y social, su historia personal.
Realizamos tutorías individuales y grupales con
los alumnos, tutorías con la familia, dedicamos
un tiempo a resolver dudas, realizamos refuerzos
escolares y enseñamos técnicas de estudio
siempre trabajando con la familia y el gabinete
psicopedagógico.

2.-FORMACIÓN CATÓLICA E INTEGRAL
Formación espiritual
Perseguimos que cada alumno experimente el
encuentro personal con Jesucristo, el amor y la
seguridad que transmite, y que descubra a la Iglesia
como Madre y Maestra. Por ello, ocupan un lugar
central la celebración de la Eucaristía y la Confesión.
Buscamos que amen a Dios.
Formación en virtudes
Procuramos formar personas maduras y libres.
Para ello nos enfocamos en la formación del
carácter y de la voluntad, así como intentamos
conseguir la superación personal de nuestros
alumnos trabajando sus virtudes. La disciplina
y la educación física se convierten en medios
privilegiados para forjar el carácter y desarrollar
valores como el respeto, la fortaleza, la
perseverancia, el trabajo en equipo y la superación
personal, entre otras.
Buscamos forjar personas íntegras.
Participación social
Queremos que el alumno viva comprometido
con la transformación de la sociedad, según los
principios del Evangelio y, por ello, participan en
proyectos sociales que fomentan su sensibilidad
social y les hace valorar la situación social, familiar
y económica en la que viven.
Buscamos que den lo mejor de sí mismos.
Disciplina formativa
La disciplina consiste en hacer descubrir a los
alumnos los motivos y valores que originan las
normas y no la imposición de un reglamento.
Creemos en la educación mediante la auto
convicción que respeta a la persona pues se
dirige a la razón y a la voluntad del alumno. Es
lo que se conoce como disciplina formativa, que
busca no tanto corregir como que el alumno se
corrija a sí mismo y que descubra el verdadero
proceso de aprendizaje.

2.-INTEGRAL AND CATHOLIC
FORMATION
Spiritual Education
We seek to help each pupil experience
a personal encounter with Jesus Christ,
the love and security He conveys, and to
help them discover the Church as Mother
and Master. To that end, celebration of the
Eucharist and Confession play a central
role in our approach.
We seek to inspire a love of God in their
hearts.
Formation in Virtues
We try to educate mature and freethinking individuals. To achieve that, we
place an emphasis on educating character
and willpower, while also trying to help
our pupils overcome personal barriers by
working on their virtues. Discipline and
physical education become ideal channels
through which to forge character and
develop such values as respect, strength,
perseverance, teamwork and personal
betterment, among others.
We seek to forge all-round individuals.
Social Participation
Our wish is for pupils to live a life of
commitment to social transformation
according to Gospel principles. Therefore,
they take part in social projects that foster
social awareness and ensure they value
the social, family and economic situation
in which they live.
Our goal is for them to give the best of
themselves.
Formative Discipline
Discipline consists of encouraging pupils
to discover the reasons and values that
lie behind our rules and not simply view
them as the imposition of regulations. We
believe in education through self-conviction
with a respect for others, as this leads to
reasoning and willpower in the pupil. This
approach is known as formative discipline,
and seeks not so much to correct but
rather to steer the pupil towards selfcorrection and discovering the true process
of learning.
We seek to educate people with scruples.

Idiomas
Languages
We believe in the importance of language as a fundamental vehicle for personal
development within a multicultural environment. For that reason, our classes are
taught 50% in English and 50% in Spanish
during pre-school education, the time in a
child’s life when they are most receptive to
learning new linguistic skills.
We are a Cambridge examination centre
and pupils have the opportunity to obtain
the most widely recognised English language certificates, such as the First Certificate in English (FCE), the Certificate in
Advanced English (CAE) and the Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE).
During secondary education, pupils have
the option to choose another additional
language (French or German).
Creemos en la importancia de los idiomas como
vehículo primordial para desarrollarse en un
ambiente multicultural, por ello en Educación
Infantil impartimos 50% inglés y 50% castellano,
época en la que los niños tiene más capacidad
para adquirir lenguas.
Somos un centro examinador de Cambridge y
los alumnos tienen la oportunidad de obtener
los diplomas de inglés más reconocidos como
el First Certificate (FCE), Advanced (CAE) y
Proficiency (CPE).
En secundaria, como optativa, pueden elegir
otro idioma adicional, el francés o el alemán.

4.-EXCELENCIA ACADÉMICA
Labor formativa de calidad
Trabajamos y nos comprometemos en sacar lo
mejor de nuestros alumnos, y en garantizar
una adecuada preparación como personas para
que triunfen en lo que son y tengan éxito en lo
que hacen para que, el día de mañana, afronten
con éxito los estudios superiores. Para ello,
contamos con un sólido proyecto curricular
con objetivos pedagógicos claros, contenidos
amplios en las áreas científica, humanística y
artística. Además, ofrecemos una completa
formación en habilidades y herramientas de
aprendizaje. Buscamos no sólo dotar al alumno

Formación intelectual
Consiste, sobre todo, en el desarrollo de
las habilidades, hábitos y destrezas; en el
entrenamiento del uso adecuado de la razón;
en la capacidad de emitir juicios rectos y
equilibrados; en fomentar la capacidad de
análisis, síntesis y relación; y en avivar la
curiosidad por conocer la realidad. De esta
manera, nuestros alumnos adquieren una clara
y sólida estructura mental impregnada de
principios y valores.
Educación diferenciada
La educación diferenciada es, hoy en día,
característica vanguardista de los mejores
modelos educativos. Sobre la base de que
los objetivos educativos y los contenidos son
los mismos para niños y niñas, la educación

Differentiated Education
Nowadays, differentiated education is
an avant-garde characteristic of the best
education models. Based on an approach
whereby the educational objectives and
objectives are the same for both boys
and girls, differentiated education is an
education system that adopts a teaching
style adapted to each gender to thus
make the most of their different qualities
and pace of maturity in order to guarantee
true equal opportunity. We separate the

At our centre, we welcome boys and girls
from the age of 2 to the last year of
Higher Secondary.
Extra-Curricular Activities
We offer a wide range of activities, based
on the age of the pupil, and stimulate

musical, logical-mathematical, linguistic
and oral abilities in order to complete
their education (music, painting, showtime, swimming, basketball, football, Judo,

We offer a school bus service, with a
number of different routes. The canteen

En nuestro centro acogemos a niños y niñas
desde los 2 años hasta el último año de
Bachillerato.
Actividades Extraescolares
Realizamos distintas actividades, según la edad
del alumno, y estimulamos su capacidad artística
o espacial, deportiva, científica, musical, lógicomatemática, lingüística y verbal para completar su
formación (música, pintura, show-time, natación,
baloncesto, fútbol, judo, ballet, flamenco, etc.)
Además, participamos en concursos académicos
y organizamos torneos deportivos intercolegiales
(Torneo de la Amistad) y campamentos en
España y en nuestros centros internacionales.
Servicios de comedor y ruta
Disponemos de un servicio de transporte
escolar, con diferentes rutas según las zonas. El
servicio de comedor elabora menús equilibrados
y nutritivos, siempre asesorados por expertos
nutricionistas para que los alumnos disfruten
cada día de una comida casera y saludable.

This school forms part of a network
of centres dedicated to the education,
formation and schooling of children
and young people. Regnum Christi is a
movement of the Catholic Church whose
mission is to extend the Christian Kingdom
in society by fostering the experience of a
personal encounter with the love of God. It
works closely with bishops, local churches
and their pastoral programmes.
Este colegio forma parte de una red de
centros dedicados a la enseñanza, educación, y
evangelización de niños y jóvenes. Pertenece
al Regnum Christi, movimiento de la Iglesia
Católica, que tiene como misión la extensión
del Reino de Cristo en la sociedad promoviendo
la experiencia de un encuentro personal con el
amor de Dios. Trabaja en estrecha colaboración
con los obispos, la iglesia local y sus programas
pastorales.

The OAK International Academies also
form part of the Regnum Christi education
group. They comprise a complementary
