The new Mariscal Sucre International

Road conections
Trabajos para agilitar la carretera Inter-Oceánica
via Cumbayá y Tumbaco incluye la construcción
de dos nuevas intersecciones.
La nueva carretera Collas-Tababela será la
principal vía de acceso hacia el norte y conecta
con la Panamericana Norte. Está avanzada en
un 20%.
La primera fase de la “Ruta Viva”, una nueva
carretera que se está construyendo en paralelo
a la actual Inter-Oceánica, se completará en
parte en octubre de 2013, y su totalidad en
julio de 2014.
The work to improve and speed up the Inter-Oceánica highway through Cumbayá and Tumbaco,
the current main route, will be completed later this
year. Two new traffic intersections have been built
over the last six months in Cumbayá.
The new Collas-Tababela highway, which will be
the main feeder road to the north, connecting with
the Panamericana Norte, is 20% complete.
The first phase of the “Ruta Viva” road, a new
highway being built parallel to the current InterOceánica, will be completed in October 2013,
and the entire route in July 2014.

AEROSERVICIOS / AEROSERVICIOS SHUTTLE
La compañía Aeroservicios ofrece autobuses
privados de transporte, cada uno con capacidad
para 42 pasajeros, con salidas cada 30 minutos
durante todo el día, con más frecuencias en las
horas pico. Su terminal en Quito se encuentra
dentro de la terminal de salidas del antiguo
aeropuerto nacional. Habrá personal y puestos
de información en el aeropuerto para pasajeros
que llegan.
Los conductores del autobús son acompañados por un asistente de habla inglesa. Están
equipados con asientos reclinables, pantallas,
estantes, aire acondicionado, rastreo GPS,
radio, WiFi gratuito y cuentan con un seguro de
responsabilidad civil.
Costo: $8 por trayecto, $4 las concesiones.
Cargo extra por equipaje grande: $2,50 por pieza.
Los pasajeros tienen derecho a una pieza de equipaje de 25 kg (50 lb) y una pieza de equipaje de
mano. Equipaje adicionales: $2 por pieza.
The Aeroservicios company provides private shuttle
buses, each with a capacity for 42 passengers.
These will leave every 30 minutes round-the-clock,
with more frequencies at peak times.
Their terminal in Quito is inside the Domestic
Departures terminal of the current airport. They
will have staff and desks at the airport for arriving
passengers.
Bus drivers are accompanied by an English-speaking assistant. Buses are equipped with reclining
seats, screens, overhead racks, air-conditioning,
GPS tracking, radios, free WiFi and have liability
insurance.
Cost: $8 each way, $4 for concessions. Extra
charge for oversize luggage: $2.50 per item.
