Take these activities to further reflect:
● By our Baptism, we are called to share with others the love
of Jesus and his good news. How can you share Jesus’ love
and message with others this week?
● Plan an evening family retreat at your house. Include
prayer, Scripture readings and a family activity. For an action,
discuss ways that each family member will show love for
God, neighbor and him or herself during the coming week.
● As a family think of the people who bring the good news to
you. Decide how you can thank them, how you will listen to
the message they have for you, and how you can help them
spread their message.
● Add to your meal and bedtime prayers this week, an extra
prayer for missionaries who are spreading Jesus’ love and
message throughout the world.

food or shelter or wages to those who toil in the

Mass for Anyone Impacted by Addiction

Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church (main church)

On the second Saturday of each month at 10:00 AM, a Mass will be said in OLA’s main church for those
struggling with alcoholism, other drug addiction, eating disorders, nicotine addiction, gambling addiction,
prescription addiction, sexual addiction or any other difficulty with obsessions and compulsions. This Mass is
also for affected others who are impacted by addiction. Family members, friends, and co-workers of addicts
who suffer because of the disease are welcome to come and share in this Eucharistic celebration of healing and
grace.
Come if you are in recovery, come if you are actively using, come if you live with someone who is addicted,
come if you grew up in an addicted household years ago, come if you are not sure, come if you need healing,
come if you need reconciliation, come if you need transformation, come and be in community at the table of
the Lord. Any age is welcome; all are welcome!
