CONTENTS
Ropes for Trawling
Every rope manufactured by Brunton Shaw UK will satisfy
the Loadrite strength testing requirement. This means that a
sample from each production length is tested to destruction
and must either equal or exceed the published minimum
breaking load.
Brunton Shaw UK ensure correct and consistent diameter
during manufacture by applying the rigorous Sizerite regime
of diameter measurement throughout the production process.
Luberite ensures that during manufacture Brunton Shaw
UK ropes are fully impregnated with a controlled amount of
high performance lubricant designed to minimize corrosion
and maximize rope life.

WIRE ROPES FOR TRAWLING
For Trawling, the company offers the traditional round strand Trawlstar® range of ropes where higher
breaking loads are not the primary concern. For more challenging conditions, we recommend the
Trawlmaster® range of Compacted strand, high breaking strength ropes which are available in Fibre or
Steel core configurations. The TrawlmasterAMP ® range of ropes are constructed with a steel core which
is encapsulated in Plastic, and is especially designed for the most arduous of conditions.
Pour toutes les peches cotieres, semi-hautieres, et pour la coquille, Brunton Shaw UK offre sa gamme
Trawlstar® en fils ronds. Ce cable peut aussi servir de “bras”, de meches de bourrelets, ou diabolos. Pour
les chalutiers peche-arriere modernes de haut rendement, la Compagnie offre sa gamme Trawlmaster®
a torons compactés, pour mieux résister les conditions de travail difficiles, y compris le cable spéciale
TrawlmasterAMP ® a torons compactés avec ame métallique plastifiée.

WIRE ROPES FOR PURSE-SEINING
For Purse-Seining, Brunton Shaw UK produces it`s Tunastar® range of round strand ropes as well as
the Tunamaster® range of compacted strand high strength ropes. The TunamasterPIR® range of ropes
are constructed by completely encasing Tunamaster® rope in Plastic in order to provide the ultimate
wear resistance
Pour les senneurs, Brunton Shaw UK offre sa gamme Tunastar® de cables a fils ronds pour les petits
bateaux et bolincheurs. Pour les thoniers senneurs océaniques, on a les cables Tunamaster®, a
torons compactés, qui sont a la fois tres forts et tres résistants a l’usure. En haut de l’échelle, il y a le
TunamasterPIR® cable tout plastifié pour donner une combinaison optimale de force, de flexibilité, et de
résistance a l’usure.
Para la pesca de cerco, Brunton Shaw UK produce sus cables de cordones redondos Tunastar® así como sus
cables especiales Tunamaster® de cordones compactados. Lo major de la gama es TunamasterPIR® - cable
de cordones compactados totalmente impregnado de plástico – disenado para optimizar el rendimiento en
los cerqueros por medio de una carga de rotura muy elevada y una resistencia excelente al rozamiento de
