ADMIN NOTES
• Thank you PSA for a great first month of school.
• We are very excited to welcome Lindsay Curtius, our new Special Education Teacher
to our community.
• Our Enrichment program is off and running. Elaine Gingery, our Enrichment
Coordinator, has been working with teachers to design a diverse program custom built
for each multiage level.
• Volunteering: Check in at office, wear badge, we are designing our own volunteer log
FACILITIES
• Prop 39: Thank you for filling out the intent to re-enroll forms this week.
• Consolidation of our campus is our top priority. To that end we are actively working
and making baby step progress down three avenues. 1. Consolidation at Emerson/
Bandini 2. A different contiguous SD Unified space 3. Lease of a private facility
• Anthony and SDCCS Board President, Patti Saraniero have had several important
meetings. Most notably, CCSA is offering free legal review of our Prop 39 request for
facilities for next year.
• Our interim office on the North Campus (Bandini) is upstairs in room 22. That space
was originally offered as a shared space but we’ve had exclusive use of it so far.
Portable trailer is still in the district’s court. We are waiting for the quote on low
voltage, someone came last week to look at low voltage. Stay Tuned.
• AC update- Each room due to size requires two units with 12,000 BTU each to be
sufficient. District provided 8 units (2 are in rm 22) and parents have contributed
donations to provide 8 units so far plus two units that are not the needed BTU. We
need six more units to ensure each classroom has two units. Several units are still not
installed.

OPERATIONS
• Attendance
• EDP soon switching to Time Dock
CURRICULUM & INSTRUCTION
• MAPs testing is happening in EMA and Bridging. It is a web based test that diagnostic
and formative data that assist in curriulum development for teachers.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
• All staff, including admin, had the opportunity last week to set their own professional
goals with their supervisor. These conversations serve as a foundation for support and
continued growth in our careers.

NOTAS ADMINISTRATIVAS
• Gracias PSA por un gran primer mes de clases.
• Estamos muy contentos de dar la bienvenida a Lindsay Curtius, nuestra nueva maestra de
educación especial a nuestra comunidad.
• Nuestro programa de enriquecimiento esta en todo funcionamiento. Elaine Gingery, nuestra

importantes. Más notablemente, CCSA está ofreciendo opinión jurídica gratuita de nuestra
solicitud Proposición 39 para instalaciones para el próximo año.
• Nuestra oficina provisional en el Campus Norte (Bandini) está en el piso de arriba en el salón 22.
Ese espacio fue ofrecido originalmente como un espacio compartido pero hemos tenido uso
exclusivo de él hasta ahora. El remolque portátil se encuentra todavía en la corte del distrito.
Estamos a la espera de la cita de bajo voltaje, alguien llegó la semana pasada a mirar al bajo
voltaje. Manténganse al tanto.
• Ultimas noticias sobre el Aire Condicionado- Cada habitación debido a su tamaño requiere dos
unidades con 12.000 BTU cada uno para ser suficiente. El Distrito proporciono 8 unidades (2 de
ellas en la habitación 22) y los padres han contribuido donaciones para proporcionar 8 unidades
hasta el momento, más dos unidades que no son el BTU necesario. Necesitamos seis unidades más
para asegurar que cada salón tenga dos unidades. Varias unidades aún no están instaladas.

CURRICULO E INSTRUCCIÓN PRUEBA
• Pruebas MAP están sucediendo en EMA y Bridging. Es una prueba basada en la web sobre los
datos de diagnóstico y formativas que ayudan en el desarrollo curricular de los profesores.
DESARROLLO PROFESIONAL
• Todo el personal, incluyendo la administración, tuvo la oportunidad la semana pasada para fijar
sus propias metas profesionales con su supervisor. Estas conversaciones sirven como base para el
apoyo y crecimiento continuo.
