__________Monday: This week in Kindergarten we will be learning about the letter “Aa”, which makes
the sound like in apple and alligator. Please encourage your child to bring in an item that begins with
this letter and sound on Tuesday. Please label each small item. Have your child think of 5 words that
begin with “Aa.” Draw them on another sheet of paper. Challenge: Have your child think of words that
rhyme with each Aa word.
__________Lunes: Esta semana en kinder vamos a aprender sobre la letra “Aa”, la cual hace el sonido
de las palabras “apple” y “alligator.” Por favor anime a su hijo/a a traer una cosa que comience con la
letra y el sonido para el martes. Por favor marquee cada cosa. Haga que su hijo/a piense en 5 palabras
que comienzan con la letra “Aa” y dibujelas en una hoja separada. Permita que su hijo lo/la mire escribir
el nombre de cada dibujo. Reto: Haga que su hijo/a piense en palabras que riman con cada palabra
“Aa.”
__________Tuesday: Have your child spell their name five different times out loud. Have them write it
on a separate piece of paper. If your child cannot spell their name out loud, please have them practice
every day until they can. This is a great time killer while waiting in line or driving. Challenge: Have them
spell their last name and write it too.
__________Martes: Haga que su hijo/a deletree su nombre cinco veces en voz alta. Haga que lo
escriba en una hoja separada. Si su hijo/a no puede deletrear su nombre en voz alta, por favor haga que
practique todos los dias hasta que puedan. Esta es una buena manera de pasar el tiempo mientras
esperan en linea o manejando…..Reto: Haga que deletrea su apellido y lo escriba tambien.
__________Wednesday: Practice writing the numerals on the attached page. Be sure to do your
neatest work and hold your pencil correctly.
__________Miércoles: Practiquen escribiendo los numerous que esta junto a esta pagina. Esten
seguros de hacer su trabajo de manera esmerada y detengan sus lapis correctamente.
__________Thursday: 1. Name the letters. Do this 3 times.
2. Give the sound for each letter. Do this 3 times.
3. Write the letters.
