As part of the continuing construction of the Metro Orange Line Extension, the
Contractor will be constructing the busway and bikeway along the easterly side of
Canoga Ave. These activities require the reconfiguration of traffic lanes and the
placement of concrete barriers (k-rail) to isolate the work zone.
WHAT:
K-rail installation and traffic reconfiguration
WHEN:
Wednesday, October 19, 2011, the anticipated work hours for
this activity are from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.
WHERE:
Canoga Ave. & Saticoy St.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
 Two lanes of traffic will be maintained in each direction.
 K-rail will be placed along the easterly side of Canoga Ave. and Saticoy St.
 Pedestrians will be rerouted to a safe area outside the construction zone.
 Local access to businesses and residents will be maintained at all times.
 Fire Department and emergency vehicle access will be maintained at all times.

Como parte de la construcción para la extensión de Metro Orange Line, el contratista
construirá el camino del autobús y bicicleta en el lado este de la avenida Canoga. Esta
actividad requiere la reconfiguración de los carriles de tráfico y la colocación de
barreras de concreto para aislar la zona de trabajo.

CUANDO:
Miércoles, 19 de octubre del 2011, las horas de trabajo previstos para
esta actividad son de 9:00 p.m. a 6:00 a.m., si el clima lo permite.
DONDE:
Avenida Canoga y la calle Saticoy.
QUE ESPERAR:
 Dos carriles de tráfico se mantendrán en ambas direcciones.
 Se colocara barreras de concreto en el lado este de la avenida Canoga y la
calle Saticoy.
 Los peatones serán desviados a un lugar seguro fuera de la zona de
construcción.
 Se mantendrá acceso local a las empresas y residentes en todo momento.
 Se mantendrá acceso para el departamento de bomberos y vehículos de
emergencia en todo momento.
