A pre-baptismal class is required. Call the Parish Office for

Marriages/Matrimonios
Couples intending to marry should call the Parish Office
six months prior to the marriage date to begin paperwork
and marriage preparation classes. Las parejas que desean
casarse tienen que cumplir las clases prematrimoniales y
deben llamar a la Oficina Parroquial seis meses antes del
día del matrimonio.
Celebración de Quinceañeras
La joven o los familiares deberán contactar la parroquia
con un mínimo de 9 meses para citarse con el sacerdote y
acordar una fecha según el calendario parroquial.
Funerals/Funerales
Funeral Services are scheduled through the mortuaries, who
then confirm dates and times with the Parish Office for the
family. Los servicios para funerales se hacen directamente
con la funeraria, la cual después confirma la fecha y hora
con la Oficina Parroquial.

“Pastor’s Weekend Message”
“The kingdom of God is at hand. Repent and
believe in the Gospel” Mark 1:15.
Peace! Welcome to Holy Family! This is your home and
our place of worship. Our duty is to encounter God in the
Eucharist and to celebrate all the sacraments. We give
thanks to our God for all of the family blessings received
this week. Let us pray for rain. Psalm 25 says, “Teach me
your ways, O Lord.” This indeed is our time of learning
and openness to do God’s will – His ways. Know that one
of my pastoral goals continues to be that Holy Family is a
stewardship community. This means that we are all the
Church and responsible for Holy Family’s financial
needs. Thank you for helping us reach our 1.5 Million
Dollar goal for “Building Our Future Together”. Thank
you. In other parish notes, in the month of February we
will also contribute to the BMA (the Bishop’s Ministry
Appeal). All parishes have to do this. Our 2015 BMA
this year is $31,964. All your pledges and commitments
are essential to help our diocese. This is not a surprise.
Every year we have to help our Bishop and his Ministries.
I thank you all for all your gifts and commitments to our
beautiful parish. Let us continue the spirit of being “a
family of many families”. Thank you and blessings in the
Lord. Congratulations to all who went to the ‘Walk for
Life’ in San Francisco!

“Acudid al Señor, poned en él vuestra confianza
y no quedareis defraudados” Salmo 33, 6.
¡Paz y bien! Bienvenidos a la Sagrada Familia. Este es su
hogar y un lugar de adoración. Nuestra responsabilidad es
el de encontrarnos con Dios en la Eucaristía y en todos los
sacramentos. Demos gracias a nuestro Dios pare que llegue la lluvia. El salmo 25 dice, "Enséñame tus caminos, Oh
Señor”. En verdad, este es el tiempo de aprender y apertura para hacer la voluntad de Dios. Les dejo saber que una
de mis metas parroquiales es que la Sagrada Familia sea
una Parroquia que viva en el espíritu de la Corresponsabilidad. Esto significa que todos nosotros somos la
Iglesia y somos responsables a las necesidades de ella.
Favor de pensarlo y hacerlo. Muchísimas gracias por
alcanzar la meta para nuestra campana, “Construyendo
Nuestro Futuro Juntos” de $1.5 Millón de Dólares. En
otros asuntos Parroquiales: Durante el mes de febrero
contribuiremos a la Petición Anual del Señor Obispo
(BMA). Nuestra meta y contribución de este ano es de
$31,964. Sus promesas y compromisos financieros son
esenciales para nuestra diócesis. Esta nota no es sorprendente, pues la ayuda la hacemos cada año. Les agradezco
por todas su donaciones y ofrendas. Continuemos el buen
espíritu de ser “una familia de muchas familias”. Gracias
y bendiciones en el Señor. ¡Felicidades a todos los que
fueron a la ‘Caminata por la Vida’ en San Francisco!

God our Provider, we come before you in this period of drought to ask for your help. We know you are aware of
our needs and of our ultimate dependence on you. As we look at our dry hills and fields and at the shortage of water in our streams and reservoirs, we turn to you with hope and confidence and ask you bless us with gentle rains in
our valleys and hillsides and with snow in the mountains. We make this prayer through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Hey kids! Come to Children’s Liturgy of the
Word on Sundays, during the 10am Mass.
This is a great way for you to be able to take
part in Mass and learn at your own level with other kids.
