The new construction now nearing completion has required sacrifices of us all and I appreciate your patience and cooperation over these past several months. I am hopeful that we will be using the new space before the end of January. I also want to thank all who have been involved in our various ministries and service groups. I deeply appreciate your commitment so evident by the smoothness with which everything is ordinarily carried out. So much good is accomplished when collaboration is the norm and communication lines are kept open. While I hesitate to single out particular groups, I do want to acknowledge the work of two groups for their unassuming service: the funeral teams— adult servers and hospitality ministers—m and the money counters. Both are outstanding. The former, by the way they represent us to the public so well during our funeral services; and the latter, by their professionalism in carrying out their responsibilities as our accountants. The Archdiocesan auditor, who visited us recently, was particularly impressed by the way they fulfilled their duties. I know you join me in thanking them. But, be aware, I take no group for granted. I know that you serve because you believe that this is what the Lord is asking of you at this particular time of your life. Attitude makes all the difference in the world. As I thank each and everyone, I also encourage you to continue the good work the Lord has begun in you, carrying it with vigor into the New Year of 2016. —- Fr. Jerome, C.P. P.
