Dear Parents:
Estimados Padres:
As from September, K3 started to implement the "Reading
Programme". The aim is that the children can deepen their use of the
second language, gaining fluency in communicating, and starting to
read.
A partir de septiembre, en K3 comenzamos a poner en marcha el
“Reading Programme”. El objetivo es que los chicos puedan
profundizar el uso de la segunda lengua, adquiriendo mayor fluidez
al comunicarse e iniciarse en la lectura.
The programme consists of activities in which the children are
encouraged to make up stories by using picture books, where they
can experiment with all the vocabulary and structures they have
learned. They also start to associate letters to their corresponding
sounds and to blend known sounds to decode words.
The cards we work with are graded in order of increasing difficulty
considering the sounds that children are learning.
El programa consta de actividades en las que se alienta a los chicos
a leer cuentos a través de la lectura de láminas, en donde pueden
volcar todo el vocabulario y estructuras que han aprendido. También
se trabaja la asociación de letras con sus respectivos sonidos y la
unión de los mismos para formar palabras. Las tarjetas con las que
se trabaja están graduadas en orden de dificultad creciente teniendo
en cuenta los sonidos que los chicos van aprendiendo.
We know that by using different resources and strategies we
strengthen English learning in our students and provide a solid
foundation for further learning.
Sabemos que utilizando diferentes recursos y estrategias afianzamos
el aprendizaje del inglés en nuestros alumnos, brindándoles así una
base sólida para aprendizajes posteriores.
