La semilla cayó en tierra buena y dio fruto!
“A sower went out to sow. And as he sowed, some seed fell on the path, and birds came and ate it up. Some
fell on rocky ground, where it had little soil. It sprang up at once because the soil was not deep, and when the
sun rose it was scorched, and it withered for lack of roots. Some seed fell among thorns, and the thorns grew
up and choked it. But some seed fell on rich soil, and produced fruit, a hundred or sixty or thirtyfold.
“Una vez salió un sembrador a sembrar, y al ir arrojando la semilla, unos granos cayeron a lo largo del
camino; vinieron los pájaros y se los comieron. Otros granos cayeron en terreno pedregoso, que tenía poca

able to help many different organizations
which includes; Catholic Charities , with
these funds collected we are able to help
families in need. Recently we have had
families come and hold signs outside our
church doors asking for donations, please
refrain from giving them donations and
instead ask them to visit the parish office
for information on how the church can
help them.

Please join us for the next meeting of the St. Rose Parish Respect Life/Pro Life group on
Monday, July 14th, at 6:30 p.m. in the front room of the Adult Learning Center (ALC). As
parishioners of St Rose of Lima Parish, we are ALL Members of this ministry group. We invite
you to attend this next meeting as we continue to grow and learn about the sanctity and
dignity of LIFE and what we can do as a parish family. We will be again be helping at the
Diocese of Monterey Respect Life Booth at this years fair.

Our next Special Summer Scripture Study will be The Introduction To The Bible. This seven
week introductory course to the Bible will familiarize you with the Bible in an experiential and
communal way. This course will prepare you to join the Scripture Studies to be offered
throughout the year. This Bible Study will begin on August 7th through September 18th
with day and evening sessions. Registration flyer will be in this weekend’s bulletin and are
also available in the Church vestibule and Parish Office.

themselves. These folks have attended Mass their entire lives and deeply miss attending Mass. If you can
provide a ride for someone we will do our best to match you with someone located close to you. If you are
