ILO CLIENT CHOICE AWARDS 2013

El pasado 27 de febrero la publicación “International Law Office” (ILO) galardonó al
Estudio Beccar Varela con el “Client Choice Award 2013”, en la categoría mejor
firma de Argentina. Los Doctores Oscar Aguilar Valdez (socio) y Augusto Vechio
(asociado senior) fueron galardonados con el mismo premio en las categorías
individuales de Derecho Público y Defensa de Competencia, de Argentina. La gala
de entrega de premios se celebró en el centro de convenciones One Great George
Street, de la ciudad de Londres.
ILO es una reconocida publicación del mundo legal que, desde el año 2005,
distingue a firmas de abogados y a profesionales que demuestran brindar servicios
de excelencia. Este año premió a 355 ganadores individuales -pertenecientes a 70
jurisdicciones- y a 51 firmas. La lista completa de ganadores está disponible en la

La elección.
Los ganadores son elegidos en base a los resultados que ILO obtiene de su
encuesta anual de lectores (en gran parte abogados corporativos), la cual
considera los siguientes criterios de análisis: calidad del asesoramiento recibido,
relación calidad-precio, conocimiento del mercado, comunicación efectiva,
transparencia en la facturación, tiempo de respuesta, entre otros.
Oscar Aguilar Valdez fue galardonado con el “Client
Choice Award 2013”, categoría “Derecho Público”.

On February 27, Estudio Beccar Varela won the 2013 International Law Office
(ILO) Award in the Law Firm category for Argentina. Oscar Aguilar Valdez (partner)
and Augusto Vechio (senior associate) were selected as sole winners of the “Client
Choice Awards 2013”: Oscar in the Public Law category for Argentina and Augusto
in the Competition category for Argentina. The gala dinner was held at One Great
George Street conference venue in London.
Since 2005, “ILO Client Choice Awards” have been recognizing law firms and
partners around the world that stand apart for the excellent client service they
provide. This year 355 individual winners across 70 jurisdictions were recognized.
Winning firms were chosen in 51 jurisdictions worldwide. A complete list of winners

The election.
Based upon the results of its annual readership survey, ILO chooses the winner
candidates (ILO readers are mostly in-house counsels). This survey examines
individuals’ and law firms’ performance considering the following client service
criteria: quality of legal advice, value for money, commercial awareness, effective
communication, billing transparency, response time, among others.
Oscar Aguilar Valdez has been awarded in the Public
Law category.
