13TH MEN’S LAW ENFORCEMENT &
FIREFIGHTER EMMAUS RETREAT
A Weekend Retreat for men that are Law
Enforcement & Firefighter (past and present).
*What is the Men’s Law Enforcement & Firefighter
Emmaus? It is a retreat put on by men of the law
enforcement and fire fighting community, based on the
appearance of Jesus to the disciples walking along the
Road to Emmaus (Luke 24:13-35).
*Why a Men’s Law Enforcement & Firefighter
Emmaus? Because every emergency first responder
could use some time away from the hustle and bustle of
today’s busy world; allowing his Christian brothers in the
law enforcement & fire fighting community to serve him.
*What happens during the weekend? You will hear a
few talks given by different men from different parishes.
Still, no lectures or assignments.
*When? Friday evening July 8 - Sunday afternoon
July 10.
*Where? MorningStar Renewal Center 7275 SW 124 St.
Pinecrest, FL 33156
*Is there a donation required? Yes a donation of
$150.00. However, do not let this prevent you from
attending. If you need any assistance, speak to any of the

JOIN YOUR EMMAUS
SISTERS AS WE
CONTINUE OUR JOURNEY
Saturday, July 16
Dear Friends,
we will be hosting a
We have only today to recommit ourselves to the
promises we made when we first said yes to following
Jesus. We don’t know what lies in the future...so we live
this commitment now, “not “later,” not “after,” not
“until.” God’s Spirit will help us face any difficulty that
comes our way.
Take time to refresh the life of the spirit that has been
given you. Then witness your faith like disciples and
believers throughout the ages. Be assured of my prayers
for you and for your dear ones. May the good Lord bless
you with wisdom and peace. Please pray for me.
In Christ,
Msgr. Pablo A. Navarro

BEAUTIFUL MERCY
Blessed be the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all
our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who
are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.”
2 Corinthians 1:4
Comfort the Afflicted
Everybody is going through something.
Sometimes they need a hug. Sometimes they just
need someone to listen. Sometimes they need a
shoulder to cry on. Will you be that friend?
Comfort, comfort my people, says your God”
(Isaiah 40:1). These words aren’t just for our priests
and parish staff. They are spoken to you and to me.
God promises in Isaiah 43:1-2, “Fear not, for I have
redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are
mine. When you pass through waters I will be with
you and through rivers, they shall not overwhelm you;
when you walk through fire you shall not be burned,
and the flame shall not consume you.” One of the
ways that God fulfills this promise to his people is
through the hands and hearts of his children. He
understands that while His presence makes all the
difference, we also need a human hand to grasp a hold
of. We need to see eyes that understand and don’t
judge. What a privilege it is that he trusts and calls us
to be a part of this ministry of comfort.

NOTICIAS DEL APOSTOLADO HISPANO
REFLEXIÓN DEL PÁRROCO
DOMINGO DECIMO TERCERO EN EL TIEMPO ORDINARIO
26 DE JUNIO DEL 2016
Queridos Amigos,
Solo tenemos el día de hoy para renovar el compromiso
que hicimos cuando decidimos seguir a Cristo. No
Pídanle a
Dios que les demuestre formas de responder a Su Palabra
y a Su Plan divino. Por favor oren por mi. Asegúrense
que los tengo a ustedes y a sus seres queridos en mis
oraciones diarias. Que Dios los bendiga!
En Cristo,
Mons. Pablo A. Navarro
