Water Bill Software Error Caused Some to be Overbilled -Corrected Water Bills will be Sent to All Customers
Dear Resident,
The City has discovered that there was an error in approximately 60% of the water bills
that were mailed on April 29, 2016. Unfortunately, in the process of updating the
financial system and replacing the water meters there was an issue with transferring the
meter information that caused some customers to be overbilled.
We have corrected the error and your corrected bill will be mailed within a few days. The
payment due date will be extended and if you have already paid your bill any over
payments will be credited to your account. We apologize for the inconvenience and
thank you for your patience during this transition.
If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact the Finance Department at
209-863-7109. City offices are open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 am to
5:30 pm and alternating Fridays, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. (City offices will be open on
Friday, May 13 and Friday, May 27.)

Querido Residente,
La Ciudad ha descubierto un error en aproximadamente 60% de las facturas de agua que
fueron enviadas el 29 de abril del 2016. Desafortunadamente, en el proceso de
actualización del sistema financiero y el de reemplazar los medidores de agua hubo un
problema con la transferencia de la información de medidores que causó que a algunos
clientes se les cobrara de más.
Hemos corregido el error y su factura corregida se le enviara por correo. La fecha de
vencimiento del pago se extenderá y se le ajustara su cuenta con un crédito si usted a
pago demás. Le pedimos disculpas por las inconveniencias ocasionadas y agradecemos
su paciencia durante esta transición.
