O
n December 1, 2013, as we begin the season of
Advent and a new Church year, we are invited
to experience a new sacred happening. We are transferring the Blessed Sacrament, The Body of Christ,
from our Chapel to the main altar in Church to be
placed in a new tabernacle donated by Victor &
Ibolya Colon, and reserved in our Church as the Living Center of Our Life and Worship. As we participate in the blessing and transferral of the Blessed
Sacrament from the Chapel to our main Church, let
us rededicate ourselves to the worship of God and the
mission of Jesus by serving one another and those in
need. We thank our donors for the new carpet placed
in our Sanctuary as a fitting renewal for Christ in
the Blessed Sacrament. As we begin the new Church
year, we will also begin having daily Mass, Adoration, and all our services in Church as a striving toward oneness in our mission as living stones of God’s
building with Christ Jesus as the foundation and
center of our lives.

God sends parents to their children as the first missionaries to proclaim his love through their actions and words.
Everyone, Blessed John Paul II taught, is by nature a philosopher. He meant that life is a classroom and the mandatory curriculum for all people is the meaning of life. Because of our free
will, life is a great test of choosing for Christ or against Christ,
who came that we might attain a blessed life: “I came so that
they might have life and have it more abundantly” (Jn 10:10).
Faith says “yes” to the abundant life of Christ. This is why the
best way to learn the meaning of life is by seeing it in those
who, by faith, have discovered it and live it in Christ: the saints

Dios envía a los padres como los primeros misioneros de sus hijos para que proclamen el amor de Dios a través
de sus acciones y palabras. Según el Venerable Papa Juan
Pablo II, cada uno es por naturaleza un filósofo. Lo que él

manera de aprender el significado de la vida es a través de

¿Escucha a sus hijos cuando tienen problemas? ¿Les
presta atención? Dígales que desea hablar y establezca un diálogo con ellos. Luego haga lo siguiente:
Primero que todo pídale a Dios sabiduría para saber
