Let us be gra teful for God’s gifts

We can see the beautiful handiwork of God everywhere. He
formed the earth, made it fruitful,
and entrusted it to us.
Our Lord Jesus has revealed the
meaning of the Father’s trust.
We have freedom and dominion
in this world for one reason: to
be worthy stewards. Do we love
God? Then we show it by how
we put to use all the good things
He has given us. Christ shows
the way. He abandoned Himself
completely to the Father’s plan.
When we imitate the Son and
give everything over to the Father—our talents, our resources,
our very lives—then we bear
good fruit.
The most fundamental fact of life
is: I did not make myself. God
made me. God has a plan for me.
My job is to pray, open my mind,
seek the truth, co-operate. Above
all, my duty is to give thanks.
Our destiny will be fulfilled
when we see God face-to-face
and praise and thank Him forever. Now is not too soon to start.
Heaven starts now, when we live
for God and seek His will in all
things.

 Look for “an attitude of gratitude”;
let’s think about joy rather than obligation
 We are not asking for a specific dollar

Podemos ver la obra hermosa de
Dios en todas partes. Él formó la
tierra, lo hizo fructífero, y lo confió

Nuestro Señor Jesús nos ha revelado el significado de la confianza
del Padre. Tenemos libertad y
dominio en este mundo por una
razón: para ser mayordomos
dignos. ¿Amamos a Dios? Entonces hemos de manifestarlo por
cómo poner en uso todas las
cosas buenas que Él nos ha dado. Cristo muestra el camino. Él
se entregó totalmente al proyecto
del Padre. Cuando imitamos el
Hijo y damos lo que tenemos a
nuestro Padre-nuestros talentos,
recursos, nuestras propias vidas,
entonces vamos a producir frutos
buenos.
El hecho más fundamental de la
vida es: Yo no me hizo. Dios me
hizo. Dios tiene un plan para mí.
Mi trabajo es orar, abrir mi mente,
buscar la verdad, cooperar. Por
encima de todo, mi deber es dar
gracias. Nuestro destino se cumplirá cuando veamos a Dios cara
a cara y darle gracias y alabanza
por siempre. Nunca es demasiado
pronto para comenzar. El cielo
comienza ahora, cuando vivimos
para Dios y buscamos su voluntad en todas las cosas.
¿Qué sacrificio quiere Él que yo

reflexión podemos responder a

Ar e you happy with tha t?
It’s sad to me that many people feel that a
stewardship campaign means that someone is
pressuring them to give money. Stewardship
with an attitude of thankfulness is much more
life changing than someone asking for money.
Everything we have including each day that
we live is a gift from God…our job, home,
food, clothing, family, boat, box of chocolates
and so many other blessings that make us
happy.
We’ve been entrusted with managing 100% of
these gifts and not just the part that we give to
the church. When we stop to consider how
truly fortunate we are to be given the pleasure
and responsibility for so many wonderful
things, giving becomes joy rather than an obligation.
We plan carefully for the important parts of
life such as feeding those we love, providing a
safe home, retirement and education for our
children. Shouldn’t we plan carefully for what
we contribute? What percentage of your income you are giving as offering to your
church? Are you happy with that? Why not
sit down as a family to plan how to best manage time and resources and decide how much
you want to contribute to your church?
If you have children, be sure they know how
grateful you are for what you have. An attitude of gratitude is a wonderful thing to share.

Es triste para mí que muchas personas consideran que una campaña administrador significa que alguien está presionando a dar dinero.
Dar con una actitud de agradecimiento es una
vida mucho más transformadora que alguien
pidiendo dinero. Todo lo que tenemos, incluyendo cada día que vivimos es un regalo de
Dios ... nuestro trabajo, casa, comida, ropa,
familia, lancha, caja de chocolates y muchas
otras bendiciones que nos hacen felices.
Hemos estado encargados de dirigir el 100%
de estos dones y no sólo la parte que le damos
a la iglesia. Cuando nos detenemos a pensar en
lo verdaderamente afortunados que somos de
tener el placer y la responsabilidad de tantas
cosas maravillosas. Dando hace más de una
alegría y no una obligación. Planeamos cuidadosamente para las partes importantes de la
vida tales como la alimentación de las personas que amamos, proporcionando un hogar
seguro de jubilación, y la educación de nuestros hijos. ¿No deberíamos planificar cuidadosamente lo que contribuir? ¿Qué porcentaje de
sus ingresos que le están dando como ofrenda
a su iglesia? ¿Estás contento con eso? ¿Por
qué no sentarse en familia y planificar cómo
administrar mejor su tiempo y recursos y decidir cuánto quieres contribuir a su iglesia? Si
usted tiene hijos, asegúrese de que sepan lo
agradecido que está por lo que tienes. Una
actitud de gratitud es una cosa maravillosa
para compartir.

Todo el mundo se recibirá una caja de sobres
de ofrenda para recordarles a todos de dar lo
que hemos planeado dar a Dios a través de la
Iglesia. El uso de sobres nos ayudará a dar a
Dios a través de nuestra Iglesia.
Se encuentran dos tipos de sobres en su paquete: ofertorio general y colecciones especiales. Ofrendas generales debe ser su primer
objetivo porque esta oferta se lleva al altar
junto con el pan y el vino en el ofertorio de la
Misa. Esta ofrenda del pan, el vino y el dinero
que ganamos a través de nuestro trabajo duro,
simboliza la gracia de Dios mezclado con
nuestro esfuerzo humano y devuelto a la gloria
de Dios.
El ofertorio general se utiliza por la parroquia para financiar los gastos generales de
funcionamiento - la factura de electricidad, la
educación de nuestros hijos, los gastos clérigos, etc. Los sobres restantes representan el
segundo ofrecimiento que se recogen después
del ofertorio de la Misa ha terminado.
La segunda ofrenda tomado el primer domingo de cada mes, entra en nuestro fondo de
construcción. Esto es para el reembolso de
cualquier préstamo que aseguramos. Para
realizar cualquier mejoría principal. Esto provendrá del fondo de construcción. Por favor,
considere dar a esta ofrenda mensualmente y
planificar su donación para ello.
La segunda ofrenda de tomado el cuarto
domingo de cada mes va a nuestra parroquia
patrocinada en Trianon, Haití. Hemos tenido
esta relación que patrocinamos por un número
de años, y además de visitar Haití con regularidad, enviamos toda esta segunda colección a
Sta. Anas, nuestra parroquia patrocinada en
Trianon, Haití.
Estas son algunas de las formas en que los
mayordomos agradecidos puedan dar de regreso al Señor a través de la Iglesia

Everyone will be issued a box of offertory
envelopes to remind us to give what we have
planned to give to God through the Church.
Using envelopes will help us give to God
through our Church.
You will find two types of envelopes in your
box: general offertory and special collections.
General offering should be your first focus
because this offering is brought to the altar
with the bread and wine at the Offertory of the
Mass. This offering of bread, wine and our
hard earned money symbolizes God’s grace
and our human effort mixed and returned to
God’s glory.
General offertory is used by the parish to fund
general operating expenses – the electric bill,
the education of our children, clergy expenses,
etc. The other envelopes represent 2nd offer-
ings that are collected after the Offertory of
the Mass has been completed.
These are some of the ways that thankful
stewards can give back to the Lord through the
Church.
The 2nd offering taken up the first Sunday of
each month goes into our building fund. The
repayment of any loan we secure to make
capital improvements will come from the
building fund. Please consider this monthly
offering and plan for it.
The 2nd offering taken up the fourth Sunday of
each month goes to our twinning parish in
Trianon, Haiti. We have had this twinning
relationship for a number of years now, and
besides visiting Haiti regularly, we send all of
this second collection to St. Anne’s, our twinning parish in Trianon, Haiti.
