Genesis 39:8-9

Genesis 39:8-9
8 But he refused. “With me in charge,” he told her, “my master does
not concern himself with anything in the house; everything he owns
he has entrusted to my care.
9 No-one is greater in this house than I am. My master has
withheld nothing from me except you, because you are his wife.
How then could I do such a wicked thing and sin against God?”
8 El rehusó y dijo a la mujer de su señor: --He aquí que mi
señor, teniéndome a mí, no se preocupa de nada de cuanto hay
en la casa. Ha puesto en mis manos todo cuanto tiene.
9 No hay otro superior a mí en esta casa; y ninguna cosa se ha
reservado, sino a ti, porque eres su mujer. ¿Cómo, pues, haría
yo esta gran maldad y pecaría contra Dios?
Genesis 3:1-5
1 Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD God had
made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, „You must not eat from any tree in the
garden‟?”
2 The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,
3 but God did say, „You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the
garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.‟”
4 “You will not surely die,” the serpent said to the woman.
5 “For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like
God, knowing good and evil.”
1 Entonces la serpiente, que era el más astuto de todos los animales del campo que
Jehovah Dios había hecho, dijo a la mujer: --¿De veras Dios os ha dicho: “No comáis
de ningún árbol del jardín”?
2 La mujer respondió a la serpiente: --Podemos comer del fruto de los árboles del
jardín.
3 Pero del fruto del árbol que está en medio del jardín ha dicho Dios: “No comáis de él,
ni lo toquéis, no sea que muráis.”
4 Entonces la serpiente dijo a la mujer: --Ciertamente no moriréis.
5 Es que Dios sabe que el día que comáis de él, vuestros ojos serán abiertos, y seréis
como Dios, conociendo el bien y el mal.
2 Samuel 12:7-9a
7 Then Nathan said to David, “You are the man! This is what the
LORD, the God of Israel, says: „I anointed you king over Israel, and
I delivered you from the hand of Saul.
8 I gave your master‟s house to you, and your master‟s wives into
your arms. I gave you the house of Israel and Judah. And if all this
had been too little, I would have given you even more.
9 Why did you despise the word of the LORD by doing what is evil
in his eyes?
7 Entonces Natán dijo a David: --Tú eres ese hombre. Así ha dicho
Jehovah Dios de Israel: “Yo te ungí como rey sobre Israel y te libré
de la mano de Saúl.
8 Te di la casa de tu señor y puse las mujeres de tu señor en tu
seno. Te di la casa de Israel y de Judá; y por si esto fuera poco, yo
te habría añadido muchas otras cosas.
9 ¿Por qué, pues, menospreciaste la palabra de Jehovah e hiciste
lo malo ante sus ojos?
Romans 1:21-24
21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave
thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were
darkened.
22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools
23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like
mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.
24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual
impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another.
21 Porque habiendo conocido a Dios, no le glorificaron como a Dios ni le dieron
gracias; más bien, se hicieron vanos en sus razonamientos, y su insensato
corazón fue entenebrecido.
22 Profesando ser sabios se hicieron fatuos,
23 y cambiaron la gloria del Dios incorruptible por una imagen a la semejanza
de hombre corruptible, de aves, de cuadrúpedos y de reptiles.
24 Por tanto, Dios los entregó a la impureza, en las pasiones de sus
corazones, para deshonrar sus cuerpos entre sí.
