This has been an exciting week for our Team & Family! On Tuesday evening the
Franklin McKinley school board unanimously approved a long-term agreement,
giving our school a home for the next 30 years! We will plan to open doors to
our new school campus beginning in the 2017-2018 school year. We are so
grateful to the district for their partnership, and will continue to work closely
with them to find a school site for the 2016-2017 school year, while we wait for
our new campus to be built. We will communicate more information as we learn
more about next year.

Thank you to all of the families who showed support by attending this week’s
meeting, and sharing your experiences with the board members. Our school
exists because of our community, and your voices demonstrated that to the
school board.
Furthermore, we’d also like to extend gratitude to all of our families for the continued trust you place in our hands each day
when you send your students to our school. It has been an honor working alongside our community to support our students on
the climb to and through college.
Report Cards and Conferences
This week students received their semester one report cards, and have spent a great deal of time in each classroom reflecting on
their growth and achievement. It has been wonderful to see and hear students develop goals for themselves, and set intentions
for all of the things they want to accomplish in the second semester of the school year. We fully believe that each of our
KIPPsters will be able to reach every goal with continued support from their Team & Family.

Conferences will be taking place between Tuesday, January 19 -Thursday, January 21 , and on Saturday, 1/23. If you would like
to meet with a teacher, but have not received an invitation, please reach out to teachers directly or stop by our main office.

Estimadas Familias de KIPP Heritage,
Ha sido una semana emocionante para nuestro Equipo y Familia! El martes el
Distrito de Franklin Mckinley aprobó los planes de largo plazo, dándonos un
hogar para los próximos 30 años! Vamos a planear a abrir nuestras puertas a
nuestra nueva escuela en el año escolar de 2017-2018. Estamos muy
agradecidos al distrito por su asociación y continuaremos trabajando con ellos
para encontrar una ubicación para la escuela para el año 2016-2017, mientras
esperamos nuestro nuevo campus que se construirá. Nos comunicaremos más
información a medida que aprendemos más sobre el año que viene.
Gracias a todas las familias que mostraron apoyo al asistir a la reunión de esta
semana y compartir sus experiencias con los miembros del distrito. Nuestra
escuela existe debido a nuestra comunidad, y sus voces demostraron esto en la
junta escolar.
Además, también queremos extender el agradecimiento a todas nuestras familias por la confianza continua que usted pone en
nuestras manos cada día cuando usted envía a sus estudiantes a la escuela. Ha sido un honor trabajar junto a nuestra comunidad
para apoyar a nuestros estudiantes e su camino hacia la Universidad.
Calificaciones y Conferencias
Esta semana estudiantes recibieron sus calificaciones de semestre uno y han pasado mucho tiempo en clase reflexionando sobre
su crecimiento y logros. Ha sido maravilloso ver y escuchar a los estudiantes desarrollar metas para sí mismos y establecer
intenciones para todas las cosas que quieren lograr en el segundo semestre del año escolar. Creemos que cada uno de nuestros
KIPPsters serán capaces de lograr cada meta con apoyo de su equipo y familia.
Conferencias tendrá lugar entre el martes 19 de enero-el jueves, 21 de enero y el sábado, 1/23. Si le gustaría reunirse con un
maestro, pero no han recibido una invitación, por favor póngase en contacto directamente con los maestros o pase a nuestra

Cảm ơn sự ủng hộ của các gia đình bằng cách tham dự cuộc họp tuần này, và
chia sẻ kinh nghiệm của mình với các thành viên hội đồng quản trị. Trường chúng
tôi tồn tại vì cộng đồng của chúng ta, và giọng nói của quý vị đã chứng minh cho
hội đồng quản trị biết điều này.
Hơn nữa, chúng tôi cũng muốn gửi lời cảm ơn đến tất cả các gia đình của chúng tôi cho sự tin tưởng tiếp tục quý vị đã đặt trong
tay của chúng tôi mỗi ngày khi quý vị gửi sinh viên đến trường của chúng ta. Đây đã là một vinh dự có thể làm việc cùng với cộng
đồng để hỗ trợ sinh viên của chúng ta trên đường đi lên và qua đại học.
Thẻ Báo Cáo và Hội Nghị
Tuần này, sinh viên đã nhận được thẻ báo cáo học kỳ một của họ, và đã dành nhiều thời gian trong mỗi lớp học phản ánh sự tăng
trưởng và thành tích của họ. Thật tuyệt vời được xem và nghe các sinh viên phát triển các mục tiêu cho mình, và thiết lập ý định
cho tất cả những điều họ muốn đạt được trong học kỳ thứ hai của năm học. Chúng tôi hoàn toàn tin tưởng rằng mỗi KIPPster của
chúng ta sẽ có thể đạt được mọi mục tiêu cùng với sự hỗ trợ tiếp tục của Đội & Gia Đình của họ.
